Located at Arlington Center, Virginia, the Office of Biometric Identity Management Tier 2 Service Desk's mission is to provide timely, accurate and customer focused support in resolving biometric inconsistencies in various support platforms as reported by the customer.GDIT is seeking a highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented Change Management Analyst. Under management, leverage your strong facilitation and communication skills to effectively manage technology changes from project awareness to project buy-in/adoption. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the Technical Change Advisory Board and Technical Review Board meetings

  • Assist in managing the Change Management process and lifecycle

  • Promote Change Management processes through trainings

  • Meet regularly with Service Area functional area staff to discuss current projects and plan for upcoming changes

  • Coach colleagues on change activities and help identify regular maintenance activities

  • Mentor colleagues on change management processes

  • Coordinate responses for unplanned maintenance, including accelerated, emergency, and break/fix activities

  • Generate weekly and monthly metrics on the Change Management process that tracks and report change request status (opened, approved, implemented, closed) and types (emergency, accelerated, normal, standard) by Service Area

  • Develop and submit daily Operations reports, as well as present at Daily Service Review meetings

  • Serve as back-up for the Change Management Lead including participation in Technical Review Board and Change Review Boards

  • Provide support and assistance to other Operations Architecture Teams including participate in weekly Operations Architecture Meetings.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Must be US Citizen

  • DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability

  • Master's degree plus 3 yrs related experience

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

  • Degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field of study

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, incl. 10 years managing and/or directing IT operations

  • Experience in configuration management planning

  • Experience in change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits

  • Experience identifying and maintaining configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation

  • Experience in configuration change control and in regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software

  • Experience supporting quality assurance process audits.

There will be a high degree of interaction with the client. * Lead the design, development, execution and management of an Organizational Change Management strategy and plan for a large-scale Federal government organization. The strategy and plan will address changes in business processes, organizational structure, and culture within the client organization. * Work closely with the client to ensure proper alignment and communication of an operating model, organization, business processes and priorities * Establish a communications plan and strategy to ensure consistent messaging across the program and affected stakeholders * Advise the client in prioritizing recommendations for short- and long-term organizational effectiveness enhancement initiatives * Bring your expertise and industry best practices to establish approaches, methodologies and tools to support OCM initiatives * Serve as a liaison to stakeholders to promote program awareness and generate overall support for program activities and achievement of program objectives * Collaborate with team members to support OCM-related risk mitigation / issue resolution * Provide leadership and coaching to the client and OCM team members. * Implement different change models and approaches to fit various scenarios and organizational cultures Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, OD or related field * 12+ years of experience in OD/OCM * Experience leading an OCM effort for a large-scale government program * Experience with ERP implementations with focus on financial systems; experience with transformation efforts in a complex, fast-moving business environment * Strong client management skills and ability to communicate and build effective working relationships across a diverse groups of stakeholders.
