Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. Functions as lead and resource for other sonographers/staff in the Cardiac Diagnostic Lab. Assists manager with the coordination of activities within the lab, assists with training of new employees and credentialing requirements of other staff.

Responsibilities

Performs tests and procedures at various locations. Functions as lead by maintaining credentials, handling quality assurance activities, and auditing cases.

Education

High School Diploma or GED - Sonography

RDCS or equiv

Associate's Degree - Allied Health/Sonography
