CACI is hunting for a Director of Capture Management to lead major capture efforts (especially those greater than $75M) to successful completion. You will partner across the enterprise with our Business Group Leaders, Business Development Managers, Proposal teams, Senior Solution Architects, Pricing Strategists, Client Executives, and many other CACI Business Support organizations and individuals. You will be based in Reston, VA or Chantilly, VA and may travel occasionally to other CACI offices or customer sites.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Plan, organize, and manage captures within your assigned markets

  • Lead major capture efforts (especially those greater than $75M) to successful completion.

  • Develop the overall capture strategy, internal and external partnerships, business plans and marketing

  • Lead and facilitate win strategy development sessions including technical, management, teaming, past performance, staffing, pricing, etc.

  • Lead the development of customer profiles, including customer needs, issues, hopes, and biases

  • Lead and coordinate competitive assessments, determining the strengths and weaknesses of CACI and potential competitors

  • Collaborate with Operations Group Leaders, Solution Architects and SMEs to develop solutions that offer customers recognized value, are price competitive, executable and will be evaluated favorably

  • Prepare and lead Milestone Reviews, and other reviews as required once opportunity has been assigned

  • Develop B&P spend plans and track all associated expenses with the capture effort

  • Manage capture personnel, coordinate with responsible lines/accounts, align resources required for the pursuit of opportunities, develop and improve upon processes, manage B&P budgets, mentor more junior capture managers, report metrics/manage risk and effectively lead growth within the Intelligence business.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree; preferably in Engineering/Science or equivalent

  • 10+ years of experience in successfully leading captures in the Enterprise IT markets

  • Experience bidding and Winning FEDSIM deals.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or above Clearance

Skills:
  • Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions

  • A proven track record of successful capture management across multiple DoD or FedCiv organizations at a variety of acquisition sizes and types

  • Experience Capturing deals requiring development of a solution and or an approach

  • Strong proposal writing skills

  • Experience and understanding of pricing and pricing strategies across multiple contract types

  • Experience managing and incorporating BOE into the capture process

  • Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish collaborative relationships with Solution architects, Line management, and peers within the Strategic Capture Group and across CACI

  • Excellent oral and written communications and experience briefing senior executives and customers

The Senior capture manager is responsible for the capture leadership of assigned opportunities in support of USfalcon growth strategy. The Senior Capture Manager must thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full capture life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous captures and proposals. The Senior Capture Manager will routinely be assigned 3-4 large solicitation captures at various stages of capture. The ideal candidate will have previously served as a capture manager with proven experience supporting the DoD. Expertise within the DOJ, DHS and other Civil agencies is desired. Successful candidates will have the ability to conceptualize a vision for winning and develop a capture plan that implements the vision. Responsibilities * Oversee opportunities from capture through award, unless a decision is made to no-bid. * Apply the USfalcon capture planning process * Develop a capture plan based on information provided from Business Development for securing and understanding the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the capture phases. * Lead planning sessions with core team. Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices * Plan and participate in capture activities, to include opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration and workshop sessions, proposal reviews * Lead/support competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts. * Support the writing of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assigned * Brief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process, when material changes occur and as needed * Support other business development activities as assigned * Conduct after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions * Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills: * 10+ years of relevant experience and track record of leading and winning contracts Desired Skills: * Experience leading teams in a virtual environment * Master's degree * Understanding of Shipley or other industry leading capture methodologies * Demonstrated leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions, in order to respond to and win business with new and existing customers * Technical writing and proposal development experience * Strong oral communication skills with prior experience briefing executives * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) Education: * Bachelors degree from an accredited university Clearance: Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance Travel: Remote work available.
