Job TitleSenior Buyer Planner
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Provide Philips Invivo business material supply by using the tools in SAP to issue / manage and analyze purchase orders on time and appropriate vendors responses, aligning the schedule and cost support in SAP as needed to ensure consistency and monitoring to corporate goals.
Provide analysis/ direct support for the procurement of all parts, assemblies, supplies, and products in support of the business production and revenue plans.
You are responsible for
Aligning communication with suppliers using SAP material requirements planning MRP & Nocturne supplier forecast portal.
Providing further analysis of forecast (supporting discussion with suppliers)
Managing releases of production and new product introduction PO's (following-up with vendors on purchase order commitments/acknowledgments and ensuring timely resolution to material shortage issues
Managing department process for PO audits and PO aging report
Consolidating and reporting on all systems material shortages weekly to Supply Chain Operations leadership
Managing exceptions per system (line down report /nonconforming material MRB /aging POs /inventory etc.)
Overall consolidation trending analysis to support key areas of improvement
Purchased items change management mentoring with input to cut over planning for changes
Escalation to Supply Chain resources needed Engineering/Supplier Project Leads/Commodity Management etc.
Ad hoc buyer mentoring on production material buying, new product introduction, and service buying processes.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
5+ years of relevant Procurement experience
Excellent Excel capabilities
Experience in SAP thorough knowledge of Purchasing and business processes
Ability to think analytically and work independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
