Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Provide Philips Invivo business material supply by using the tools in SAP to issue / manage and analyze purchase orders on time and appropriate vendors responses, aligning the schedule and cost support in SAP as needed to ensure consistency and monitoring to corporate goals.

Provide analysis/ direct support for the procurement of all parts, assemblies, supplies, and products in support of the business production and revenue plans.

You are responsible for

  • Aligning communication with suppliers using SAP material requirements planning MRP & Nocturne supplier forecast portal.

  • Providing further analysis of forecast (supporting discussion with suppliers)

  • Managing releases of production and new product introduction PO's (following-up with vendors on purchase order commitments/acknowledgments and ensuring timely resolution to material shortage issues

  • Managing department process for PO audits and PO aging report

  • Consolidating and reporting on all systems material shortages weekly to Supply Chain Operations leadership

  • Managing exceptions per system (line down report /nonconforming material MRB /aging POs /inventory etc.)

  • Overall consolidation trending analysis to support key areas of improvement

  • Purchased items change management mentoring with input to cut over planning for changes

  • Escalation to Supply Chain resources needed Engineering/Supplier Project Leads/Commodity Management etc.

  • Ad hoc buyer mentoring on production material buying, new product introduction, and service buying processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of relevant Procurement experience

  • Excellent Excel capabilities

  • Experience in SAP thorough knowledge of Purchasing and business processes

  • Results orientation

  • Ability to think analytically and work independently

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Conference Services at UF hosts over 10,000 guests every summer including both adult and youth visitors who come to UF to attend sports camps, education programs, internships, and other summer enrichment programs. Directly responsible to the Conference Event Manager and indirectly to the Assistant Director, University Housing Operations in planning for the designated summer camp/conference residence hall spaces, guest apartments, event space, and other facility usage needs for the clients and conference services. – Coordinates facility reservations and requests meeting room space. Coordinates scheduling, planning, and implementing conferences within housing and meeting room spaces. Completes client billing, and payment of vendors' invoices, dispute resolutions with clients and vendors, and confirmation of vendor services. Coordinates and schedules with UF departments regarding meals, meeting spaces, transportation, and other support services for conferences, workshops, and summer camps. Assist with development of new services, products, and opportunities for conferences services. Serve an on-call capacity for conference services programs. – Coordinates the guest housing and year round event space reservations. Manage Guest Housing and Event space inventory on a weekly basis which includes supplies, AV equipment and furnishings. Places orders of supplies for as needed to refresh items and replenish supplies. Prepares materials for check in and check outs of the spaces. Operate UF vehicle(s). * Prepares conference group agreements that includes (but is not limited to) bid proposals, promotional activities, online and on-site registration, and special event planning. Assist with pre-planning, on-site, and post-event conference logistics that includes but not limited to youth protection compliance, equipment needs, venue adjustments, and catering.
