Join our dynamic Procurement team and play a pivotal role in steering our organization towards its strategic goals while maintaining a keen eye on risk management and regulatory compliance. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the collaborative energy of in-person interactions, providing a balanced and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex Procurement Processes: Independently manage competitive procurement for a diverse range of goods and services, ensuring alignment with government and sponsor requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to prepare and execute intricate purchases, including obtaining proposals, justifying selections, and strategizing risk management.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Take charge of negotiations concerning purchase terms, FAR, and DFARS clauses, handling moderate to complex agreements.
  • Supplier Development: Identify and cultivate new supply sources to enhance procurement options.
  • RFP/RFQ Execution: Assist in market research and the timely execution of RFPs/RFQs, ensuring bids meet all requirements and regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Review terms and conditions, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Procurement management team.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain meticulous records for internal and external audits, including procurement summaries and analysis documentation.
  • ERP System Management: Oversee purchasing file preparation for electronic attachment to POs within an ERP system.
  • Procurement Advisory: Offer expert advice to requisitioners and disseminate crucial information across functional areas.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to procurement processes and participate in special assignments and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant government procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in large-scale procurement principles and supply-chain management.
  • Experience with various commodities procurement (electronics, mechanical, PWBs, services, software, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other government procurement regulations.
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.
  • Systematic work approach with excellent organizational skills and minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain government clearance.

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: $95,000 - $100,000
