Medtronic Diabetes is undergoing a transformation with the aim of increasing the digital and agile maturity of the business. The Sr Manager Business Process Implementation This position will require an experienced Lean Six Sigma leader with a strong background in process management. This role must have a strong ability to facilitate and drive change in a fast-paced environment leveraging strong interpersonal skills. This role will lead cross-Diabetes group process improvement initiatives that will drive the simplification and acceleration of business transformation. This role will report into the Vice President of Enterprise Excellence and IT.
A Day in the Life
Global Productivity: Leader and team will Improve efficiency by streamlining business processes and eliminating waste through the application of analytic methods to identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Use project management and process improvement methodologies to deliver organizational results
Driving Growth at Scale Leverage and implement digital technologies and automation to transform business processes. Focus on driving measurable improvements by deploying Process Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma principles. Facilitate organizational change management and ensure adoption of new tools and processes by identifying, monitoring and communicating success metrics
Leverage Lean Six Sigma Methodologies: Conduct E2E business process diagnosis to identify improvement opportunities across the business. Project managing the lean six sigma business transformation initiatives using DMAIC, DMADV and other transformation methodologies. This should include identifying the problem, defining the project objectives, managing project delivery and validating and reporting benefits. Lead, and guide greenbelts to lead, continuous business improvement projects.
Organizational Champion: Bring visibility, advocacy for innovation and continuous improvement. Lead with passion for our Mission, customer engagement, and results.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
Measures performance against process requirements.
Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
Communicates team progress.
Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
Bachelor's Degree Required
Ability to travel up to 25%

Strong record of collaboration and business transformation results in a matrix environment
Prior consulting experience preferred demonstrated srong communication and presentation skills to multiple levels of teams and leadership

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in process improvement implementation in regulated industry preferred.
Lean Black Belt required or experience which demonstrates Lean Black Belt equivalency
Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
