Job Description Summary:
Responsible for day to day activities supporting Oracle EBS suite business users as well as interfaces to third party applications. Strong Oracle Finance and Supply Chain Functional skillset. This would include but not limited to OM, EAM, ASCP, INV, AME PO, AP, AR, GL Advanced Pricing, Cash Management, and Fixed Asset. Strong knowledge and understanding of application configurations, setups, and integration of ERP Financial modules, with sound knowledge of integrated suites with End-to-End Flows & respective Accounting experience. Comprehensive understanding of PL/SQL utilization in building interfaces within or outside of Oracle EBS Modules. Experience with projects governed by Agile development methodologies.
Utilize functional & technical application knowledge to partner with business users to design and define effective business processes. Identify opportunities to standardize business processes per Best Practices.
Drive discussions with business users and document the solution alternatives in order to help conclude on the optimum choice, with a goal of minimizing customizations and of long-term sustenance. Work as a business partner, but provide pushback if these goals do not seem to meet.
Do the setups and configurations as needed for Oracle modules in Development and Production environments. Documentation of setups per defined document sets, execute setups in TEST, QA and PROD. Keep documentation up-to-date.
Customize process, write the functional design document for business review and approval. For the technical design document provide detailed inputs to development team.
Develop and execute test scripts for unit-testing, business-testing (during CRPs/UATs) and integration-testing.
Work effectively with business users and various IT Resources, building consensus and resolving conflicts, if any.
Address identified issues, assist in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Oracle Financial and related modules. Raise SRs with Oracle whenever needed and keep them up to date.
Follow all the knowledge management practices, and whenever necessary, provide an effective training to identified resources.
Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of Oracle R12 EBS experience.
A strong knowledge of Oracle eBusiness applications. Modules preferred are General Ledger, Sub Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Cost, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Purchasing, INV, EAM, ASCP, EBTax, and AME.
Working knowledge of Oracle iPortal and iStore Applications.
Experience with SharePoint, Access, Vertex, GL Wand, More4Apps.
Process flow knowledge of Supply chain (OM and SC) and finance tracks (GL, AP, AR).
Strong business system analyst skills including writing and executing SQL queries.
Demonstrated experience in running oracle diagnostics and creating Oracle Support SR's and working with Oracle to resolve incidents.
Agile software development experience such as Kanban and Scrum.
