Job Description


Utilize your Business Systems expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment supporting the business areas of Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing and Service. This role operates under the direction of an IT Manager to analyze, design, develop, configure and maintain business information systems and procedures; assist in the total project implementation process; provide specific system and business expertise necessary to solve production and maintenance issues in their assigned project/systems areas. Provide work direction, guidance and technical assistance as necessary; maintain competency and expertise in projects and systems within the assigned functional areas.


  • Act as a knowledge base and primary point of contact for the IT team, as well as for business users, for the given areas of responsibility. Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance business practices for all Brooks facilities.

  • Facilitate business and systems analysis discussions and translate findings into clearly defined Business Requirements Documents/Functional Design Documents. Interface with all major business groups.

  • Research, design, configure, test, document and manage implementation of system changes. Manage the impact of these changes and their effects across all business segments and locations.

  • Provide daily support for ERP Production issue and enhancement projects. Analyze and trouble-shooting of application and business issues as needed.

  • Act as a liaison between the various business groups and developers to define specifications and interpret system implications. Assists with testing application upgrades and patches to ensure changes are appropriate and working as designed.

  • Participate in future system implementations in any or all Brooks facilities, including site preparation and planning, testing, and support. May be assigned to small projects or to phases/portions of larger projects.

  • Identify process and system improvement recommendations based on best practices that help the business in achieving its goals and objectives.


Requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-8 years' experience with a tier 1 ERP (Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, SAP) and working knowledge of Agile PLM. Prior ERP experience around product/items, bill of material, work structures and operational attributes related to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory and Service. Experience managing and configuring Oracle Product Information Management (PIM) and Product Data Hub (PDH) with good understanding of MDM processes, new item request, and item class security strongly preferred. Solid understanding of product lifecycle processes and the commercialization of items in a global environment consisting of multiple manufacturing and distribution centers. Experience with ASCP, planning central and forecasting highly desirable. Knowledge of database views and tables as it relates to the applicable business area, and familiarity with tools used to retrieve, analyze and upload data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide reporting and analysis for program and product line management including program cost, sales, forecasting, budgeting, absorption, capital & department spending and inventory * Perform all cost accounting activities including, margin and cost ratio analysis, inventory control, variance analysis, etc. * Effectively collaborate with colleagues from all departments including sales, engineering, procurement, all members of the domestic and international leadership team * Lead and execute process improvement projects including waste elimination team participation and leadership. * Develop and support a personal and company-wide culture of Lean and / or Six Sigma principles * Assists the Director in the development of budgets and in forecasting, analyzing, and evaluating financial plans. * Responsible for assigned Product Line financial reporting and analyses of operational results. * Helps develop and implement new techniques for financial analysis. * Establish strong relationships with program and product line manager. Qualifications: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor�s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred. * Five + years of related experience in finance role. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer modeling. * Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interface with L3Harris Senior Management, and L3Harris Corporate Business Review personnel. * Must be a self-motivated, high energy, organized individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines. * An understanding of government contracts is a plus. * An understanding of current regulations pertaining to submission and negotiation of US Government proposals (FAR / DFARS / TINA / CAS) is helpful A competitive market-based compensation package, commensurate with the responsibilities and experience requirements will be provided.
