We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join the Corporate Business Operations team. Program Managers play a vital role at New Relic focusing on large scale, cross-organizational strategic initiatives that typically include a substantial software development component.

Our program managers operate with breadth and depth - breadth at the company-wide program level to deliver on ambitious goals that require broad alignment and coordination across multiple functional organizations and depth at the execution level to plan and manage sub-projects as part of a larger scale program.

As a program manager, you will have a broad impact on the organization through the complex initiatives you lead. Successful program managers at New Relic are collaborative, strategic thinkers, who are comfortable presenting and influencing at the executive level.

What You'll Do

  • Build leadership structure around large, cross-team initiatives to maximize alignment, drive collaboration, and facilitate communication.

  • Facilitate execution of deliverables at each program phase, from initiation and planning to completion and retrospective.

  • Work with teams to identify and manage our top risks with contingency and mitigation plans.

  • Drive tradeoff decisions to align leadership on the right level of risk for each initiative.

  • Establish the right amount of process to drive efficiency, alignment, and continuity in a rapidly evolving environment.

  • Help cross-organizational teams identify and address their bottlenecks, blockers, and dependencies.

  • Facilitate productive meetings from small (3-5 people) to large (100 people or more).

  • Craft status reports that provide the context, narrative, data, transparency, and calls to action that serve as the pulse of rapidly evolving programs.

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 3+ years of successfully leading and delivering business transformational initiatives in cross-functional work environments

  • 5+ years of working in a hands-on role leading software related programs.

  • Well-versed in program management fundamentals, including team building, role/responsibility definition, risk management, work breakdown structures, project tracking, conflict management, etc.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to initiate action and accountability from local and remote teams.

We are seeking a Business Operations Manager of Transplant and VAD Services who will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations for the Transplant and VAD Programs under the direction of the Transplant/VAD Director. The position's range of duties and responsibilities are broad and varied with primary focus being given to financial oversight and stewardship. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and aspects of the programs. Main responsibilities include managing a group of employees that deliver shared support services across the Transplant and VAD Program; establishing workflows/processes which are aligned with program policies; managing both the revenue and expense budget and supportive process to meet financial goals/objectives and key performance metrics. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for the cost reporting and contract maintenance of the Transplant and VAD program. The role is also responsible for managing, implementing, and ensuring that necessary data and reports are produced in a thorough and timely manner for the transplant and VAD departments. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission, philosophy and values. In this position you will have the following responsibilities: 1) Plan and supervise the financial administrative operations of Transplant/VAD Program. * Develop, implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to support organizational goals to comply with regulatory mandates and align with official hospital policies. * Collaborate with Transplant Quality/Compliance and Organ Program Coordinators/Managers to ensure work processes and technology usage is aligned across the enterprise * Continuously observe operational outcomes and compare against goals and/or established benchmarks. Implement process optimization/improvement initiatives where negative variance occurs. * Collaborate with Leadership to establish program specific benchmarks, metrics and key financial performance indicators for operational and program performance management. * Serve as linking and coordinating entity for all operationally necessary enterprise-wide departments and outside consultant contracts (Labs, Pharmacy, Medical Records, Central Scheduling, etc.). * Manage the implementation of monthly transplant-specific financial meetings and the establishment and analysis of associated metrics * Support strategic growth initiatives with data, analysis, financial acumen and business plans. * Represent Transplant Administration on standing committees and at functions in the absence of Director. 2) Oversee the Transplant Programs' financial operations. * Develop concepts for revenue growth and cost containment enhancement. * Actively monitor the expenditures of each cost center within the Transplant Programs and performance to budget. * Serve as the subject matter expert for the Medicare Organ Acquisition Cost Report and collaborate across the enterprise to maximize data capture and revenue. * Initiate corrective action plans in collaboration with the Director for any discrepancies or negative budget projections * Prepare periodic reports for review with management staff to inform and provide further explanation on fiscal operations and/or model out the financial impact of growth strategies and new initiatives * Provide decision analysis activities for the Transplant Programs for proposed new services and assist in the development of business plans. * Assure that all phases of every transplant case is tracked and documented. * Assure that 100% of transplant claims have been submitted correctly/timely, followed up on and paid correctly. * Evaluate all charges for accurate documentation activities to maximize revenue. * Collaborate with the Director, Surgical and Medical Directors and Transplant management to develop realistic projections of expenses and revenue for accurate budgets. * Work with Budget Analysts, CFO, and other associated departments to project accurate expense budgets each fiscal year and other times within adjustments are required due to market demands. * Remain current with expenses, trends and anticipated cost affected by new developments in the market and new programs and regulations. * In conjunction with revenue systems and audit, review and update charge master and identify new revenue streams for the Transplant Programs. * Develop, supervise and/or coordinate preparation, maintenance and execution of all fiscal records and contracts 3) Provide leadership for the finance team, Financial Coordinators and non clinical support team. * Coordinate the daily operation of assigned staff to ensure timeliness of assigned duties. * Develop and maintain a work schedule ensuring adequate coverage approving PTO time based on staffing needs. * Provide guidance, direction, and education to staff as needed to achieve department goals and hospital strategic initiatives. * Serve as a preceptor to new employees. * Recommend and implement changes as needed to ensure team provides accurate, timely and cost effective accomplishments for the department. 1) Plan and supervise the financial administrative operations of Transplant/VAD Program. * Develop, implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to support organizational goals to comply with regulatory mandates and align with official hospital policies. * Collaborate with Transplant Quality/Compliance and Organ Program Coordinators/Managers to ensure work processes and technology usage is aligned across the enterprise * Continuously observe operational outcomes and compare against goals and/or established benchmarks.
