Job Duties and Responsibilities
This role is with the Sling Billing and Payments team running an efficient, successful, and scalable payment method across multiple partners.
Review and monitor existing partner payment processes and performance to ensure a higher payment success rate
Work with partners to define requirements to enhance the partner payment platform across multiple partners
Benchmark existing processes to industry best practices and identify opportunities to improve the partner payment invoice recovery and reduce non-pay carrying costs
Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial modeling, and business case development
Manage multiple initiatives to work across multiple partners
Develop requirements to optimize processes through process automation and other system enhancements and partner with internal Data, IT, Partner Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to implement
Provide ongoing support for and input into initiatives with non-pay impact and partner with stakeholders to ensure processes are updated to accommodate any changes
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers
Partner with data teams to develop reports and dashboards to track results and monitor to identify exceptions proactively and resolve issues in a timely manner
Skills - Experience and Requirements
A successful candidate will have the following skills:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Thorough understanding of the basic lifecycle of a financial transaction, from initial payment through settlement, is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to interact effectively across multiple stakeholders
Must have analytical/elicitation skills to ask the right questions of partners, dissect, organize, translate and cross-reference requirements
Ability to work as part of a team and be resourceful and adaptable
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data.
Familiarity with databases (SQL) and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required
