Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Business Marketing Analyst I to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following:

  • Support sample requests and price quote escalation approval

  • Weekly report on business metrics such as bookings, sales, new opportunities, quoting trends, etc.

  • Quarterly analysis of business metrics and trends

  • Routine tracking of top customer opportunities with sales organization

  • Lead and coordinate the BU's Quarterly Demand Forecasting process

  • Quarterly Contract Manufacturer (CM) RFQ approval and submission

  • Quarterly distribution package deal quote compliance check

  • Quarterly Opportunity Funnel tracking and regional sales reviews

  • Support establishing and updating product column pricing, conduct competitive pricing analysis

  • Bi-annual manufacturing simplification and PDN documentation preparation as applicable

Qualifications

  • Experience developing demand assessments and qualifying and preparing pricing quotations

  • Experience creating and making highly effective presentations to management

  • Track record of success in results-driven tactical marketing and demand planning exercises

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with various levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Solid communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong follow-through and time management skills

  • Bachelor's in business or related + 6 years, or MS + 3 years of experience in marketing or sales in the semiconductor industry

Compensation and Benefits

MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.

MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range of: $83,300 to $129,260 Annually

The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.
