Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst - Senior will be a member of the Enterprise Analytics team and be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of self service business intelligence portals, dashboards, and other associated reporting platforms. This person is responsible for implementing and maintaining reporting and business intelligence solutions to support all necessary divisions of Baptist Health and managing data analysis projects to completion. The Senior Analyst uses Baptist Health Data Management Principles to guide the work and coordinates activities among stakeholders across Baptist Health to understand data definitions, data needs, and gaps. The senior analyst must be able to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with other departments, maintain confidentiality of all data, information, and activities, and be able to perform detailed, quality work in a timely fashion.

• Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, or related field. Preferred Education: Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, or related field

• Required Minimum Experience: 4 years of experience working with large scale applications

• 4 years of experience in report / dashboard development which includes using one or more tools such as Excel, Business Objects, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tibco Spotfire, Qlikview, or Tableau Experience in creating complex drill through reports

• Experience analyzing data and communicating the results to business leaders

• Knowledge of data warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies

• Communication and data presentation skills are required

• Demonstrated ability to manipulate, mine, and analyze large, complex datasets

• Self-starter with a proven ability to create project plans and take initiative to successfully execute to completion or adjust as analysis requires.

• Ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints.

• Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.

• Works well in a progressive, team-oriented environment.

• Ability to scope, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
