PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Global Finance Process Lead within the Global Business Services organization is accountable to drive process improvement and simplification in global lease accounting processes and reporting. This includes driving alignment with stakeholders such as the Sourcing and Accounting functions. This role is responsible for leading the definition, alignment, and implementation of lease accounting processes globally. Additionally, this role is accountable to explain, present, and train the details of the lease accounting processes as needed and this specialist will also partner with the shared services team responsible for executing the back-office leasing process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Excellence
Provides subject matter expertise of best practices for global lease processes and lease accounting
Proactively manages business process issues to resolution and escalates as necessary
Develop/adapt detailed process documents and standard operating procedures
Captures the value of continuous improvement and ongoing process optimization
Optimizes technology solutions for efficiency, stability, and increased performance
Financial Stewardship
Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
Collaborates with External reporting on the 10Q/K footnote disclosures; quarterly and annually
Execute all lease processes associated with technical and judgmental accounting elements
Reconciles and reviews general ledger accounts timely and in accordance with OC policy
Business Partnership
Acts as a change agent for the subject matter in which they are responsible
Partners with Global Business Services to develop and maintain KPIs for Lease COE team
Works collaboratively with offshore resources to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place
Influence and manage stakeholder's expectations
System Deployments
Leads & participates in design and development workshops to provide a point of view in all accounting system development activities
Manages and owns functional changes in accordance with the agreed governance processes
Drives unit testing, integration testing and usability testing.
Executes test scenarios, validates data, and documents test results.
Participates in system cutover activities and supports system go-lives and stabilization
Delivers key project milestones for SAP and other system implementations
Coordinates and trains end users as required.
Assesses change requests to determine impact and recommended course of action
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a multi-national corporation in a corporate setting desirable
Experience in Leasing Industry and/or Lease Accounting (ACS 842)
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvements
Demonstrated rate of growth and success in prior roles
Change leadership experience and/or complex project leadership experience
