In this role you will transform data into actionable information, developing and analyzing corporate-level sales and high-quality reports for the C-suite, investors, Board of Directors, and other senior level internal stakeholders.

You'll be an integral part of ICF's Corporate Growth team, which supports Business Development efforts across the organization with proposal and capture management, strategy development, knowledge management, and other resources and tools.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reporting critical metrics for senior leadership in a large, publicly traded company

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly sales metrics reports

  • Analyzing data to find and report on relevant trends

  • Monitoring data quality to ensure reporting accuracy

  • Processing and reporting on client quality data from monthly surveys

  • Preparing reports used to support Board of Directors and Investor Relations meetings for the C-Suite

  • Predicting future Business Development success based on historical experience

  • Responding to ad-hoc requests resulting from evolving business needs

  • Solving Problems, analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions

  • Manage multiple priorities and complex data relationships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Quality Control your own work, Attention to detail is a critical skill for success

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience is required, with coursework in economics, statistics, and/or marketing beneficial

  • Proven success with at least 5+ years mid-level analysis and reporting experience (internships count!) examples of analyses/reports would be great to see

  • Demonstrated expert level Excel skills required

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

The incumbent will assist Principal Investigators (PIs) in the development, preparation, and submission of grant and contract proposals, including developing and/or advising on project budgets; proposal guidelines and forms to meet sponsor requirements; appropriate internal review procedures and compliance with applicable sponsor, university, state and federal requirements. Specific duties include: * Making sure all applications meet agency and university guidelines and published time tables and deadlines, including management of the Just-In-Time process; * Coordinating with PI and pre-award support staff at collaborating institutions to secure necessary sub-award documents for proposals; * Accurately reviewing the applications to make sure costs are allowable, appropriate rates are applied, cost share issues are resolved and that budget and budget justification are finalized in time to complete the internal review process before submission to the sponsor; * Advising the PI on administrative requirements in preparing proposal submissions; * Reviewing proposal elements for consistency with sponsor guidelines, accuracy, and completeness; * Monitoring proposal status and advising PI on requirements and deadlines associated with research protection protocols; and * Performing post award activities, as needed. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent training and experience) in a closely related field; * Significant demonstrated experience in proposal preparation, development and submission; research and grants administration; accounting and/or business administration; * Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance, grant proposal preparation guidelines, agency-specific guidelines and electronic systems; * Demonstrated ability to research, investigate, analyze, and interpret proposal, award, fiscal and compliance requirements; * Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal); * Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and high attention to detail; * Intermediate to expert level Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
