The Senior Business and Strategy Analyst is part of the STERIS Mobile Solutions team. Its primary role is to enable better data-driven decision making and strategic planning to support the Mobile Solutions business unit. The position requires frequent interaction with the Product Manager, Project Manager, Senior Manager and Vice President to support decision making, strategic planning and execution processes. The individual will also have primary responsibility for preparing annual budgets, supporting business development activities, forecasting, process improvement and assisting with business strategy projects focused on both reporting and operational improvements.

Provide P&L reports to business unit management team on a monthly basis.
Develop, manage and maintain a revenue dashboard to align with business goals and objectives.
Manage the business unit forecasting tool to support business strategy decision making with regard to new builds and business direction.
Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to support the business unit and business leaders.
Create business performance reports for business leaders focused on geography, Customer, IDN, territory and/or product performance.
Provides analytical support and strategic development to the mobile solutions management team.
Utilize data to support business decisions regarding growth, direction and alignment.
Creates recommendations by synthesizing data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to drive business insights and improvements.
Analyze data sets from remote monitoring sources as needed to support service initiatives.
Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis.
Work with Seibel team to pull reporting to address and support business needs as required.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to evaluate business needs, scope solutions, solve issues and provide recommendations.
Prepare, analyze and summarize data, make presentation of findings and provide written and verbal recommendations for improvement.
Support in the creation and management of all capital requests for submittal to STERIS senior management to build new products.
Provide reporting and analytics to support PM history, cost detail, pricing, commission payments, deployment duration, historical sales, etc.
Conduct data gathering and analysis by using multiple database management tools while analyzing large, complex datasets.
Serve as business process owner for reporting and data gathering.

Operational Support, Strategy and Continuous Improvement 40%
Work with Senior Manager to develop and submit strategic plans to support business unit functions, growth and retrospective reviews.
Develop business plans, organization charts, business summaries, work flows, process maps and developmental tools to assist business leaders as needed.
Work with Senior Manager and Vice President to build business cases to foster improvement initiatives and business growth (new builds, relocation, service hubs, off site reprocessing, etc.)
Manage data entered and collected within the Customer pipeline to build profiles and databases which can be used to support strategic initiatives.
Develop sales tools, corporate presentations and collateral to manage the business and support growth
Work with Senior Manager and Product Manager to manage the pipeline to support forecasting and utilization efforts
Create process mapping as needed to support new processes and continuous improvement.
Create Customer financial statements, perform reconciliations and issue credits as needed
Working with Product Manager to create and manage all capital requests for submittal to STERIS senior management to build new products (Mobile SPD, Mobile Surgery, Mobile Endoscopy, etc.)
Work with Customer Operations, Tax and Insurance to ensure all unit information is maintained and up to date for internal reporting.
Work with Product Manager to create new GL codes as needed to manage new builds.
Minimum 7-10 years general business experience with 4-6 years experience within the mobile healthcare space.
3-5 years STERIS experience preferred with knowledge of STERIS systems and processes.
Deep understanding of the Mobile Solutions business unit operations.
Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiation, analytical and project management skills.
High degree of technical aptitude with significant multi-tasking capability.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills.
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and on-line presentation tools.
Specific skills and/or business competencies:
Proven track record of successful project management including 3+ years of cross functional management.
Ability to assist in the design of the Mobile Solutions business unit strategy and roadmap.
Understanding of the medical industry, hospital operations and mobile solutions market.
Coordinates and fulfills a variety of project requests in the areas of business planning, market research, strategy execution and analysis, and product/service development.
Demonstrates continued developmental skills necessary to create project plans and formulate recommendations.
Financial acumen and capability to monitor costs and pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Experience supporting design and development of business intelligence solutions and reporting tools
Experience with financial data, analysis and reporting.
Strong problem solving and analytic skills (data gathering, analysis and development of recommendations)
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Ability to think critically and strategically about proposed programs or process changes and provide meaningful insight to business stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
