As a Senior Business Analytics Consultant

  • Investment Product Management within PNC's Asset Management organization, you will be based within the PNC footprint.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping to design/implement solutions that streamline the delivery of a best-in-class investment platform. This will be accomplished by building-out robust reporting/analytics databases, automating business processes and by developing/enhancing technologies in order to deliver value-added, scalable solutions.

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Data, coding and analytics: Python, SQL, Hadoop, Data visualization via Tableau and/or PowerBI, Excel/VBA

  • Business process automation: Extract, transform and load ("ETL")

  • Product: Product strategy, development, design, implementation and "go-to-market" experience. Experience writing technical business requirements for new builds and/or integrations

  • Qualitative: Track-record of being self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent-thinking and results-oriented which has led to the successful delivery of creative business solutions

  • CFA, CFP, CAIA, MBA or similar education preferred (or pursuit towards)

  • Experience with quantitative investment analysis

Job Description

  • Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.

  • Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.

  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.

  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.

  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.

Base Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience.
