THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE, LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED Senior Business Analyst Job Responsibilities: Solves organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing business requirements from clients; help in designing computer programs and systems; recommending system controls and protocols; tests software to ensure the software meets client requirements; collaborating with product and project managers, developers, and other analysts to deliver solutions.

Job Duties:· Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.· Meets with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME) to gather and define project requirements· Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts; studying system capabilities; creating information architecture diagrams; designing screen mock-ups; writing specifications.· Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.· Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.· Manages project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; monitoring risks; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.· Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.· Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.· Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.· Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.· Maintains professional and technical knowledge reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; interacting with clients· Works closely with development team to ensure software meets product requirements. Skills and Qualifications:· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis· Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word is a plus)· Microsoft Visio· Software Requirements Analysis· Software Design· Software Documentation· Experience with the Software Development Process· Software Testing· Analyzing Systems and Information· Teamwork and Collaboration· Software Maintenance and Support· Effective Written and Verbal Communication· Promoting Process Improvement· General understanding of development methodologies and consulting best practices· General understanding of common web and application architectures Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle Certification in PMI "Professional in Business Analysis" preferred/ a plus xFact Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
