Position Summary:
Develop new functionalities or modify existing processes to meet federal and institutional requirements, create business process guides and train staff. Review documentation related to Patches and Fixes; develop test scripts, test new and existing functionalities in PATCH and Production databases. Find solutions to problems encountered by users in PAWS by researching PeopleBooks and documentation available on HEUG and Oracle websites. Develop reports requested by federal and state agencies, national publications and TCNJ community. Review and improve existing business processes to utilize maximum use of delivered Financial Aid and 3C functionalities.
Act as a liaison between Financial Aid office and Technical Staff. Modify and maintain Web based forms and Access databases used in the Financial aid office.
Main Responsibilities:
Research and resolve PAWS issues and maintain documentation: FA encounters problems because of bugs in the system, changes to PAWS, inconsistencies in federal systems and user errors. To resolve these issues, I must research HEUG and Oracle's website to find resolution and then test the solution multiple times.
