We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our AMS Sales Operations organization and help to build out analytics and reporting in support of go-to-market initiatives. The preferred candidate will have experience supporting Sales, is comfortable managing large data sets, has strong attention to detail, has the ability to build financial models, and has strong communication skills. They will work cross-functionally across sales, operations, marketing and finance, with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Assist in the development and reporting of key performance metrics to help drive increasing Sales productivity

  • Extract data sets, perform analyses, build financial models to support pipeline, coverage, renewal or other initiatives

  • Manage operational process improvement projects

  • Support the implementation of Sales productivity, planning and reporting tools

  • Assist with annual planning and monthly forecasting processes for the AMS Sales organization

  • Analyze performance and productivity data and assist in preparing slides for QBR's, or other Sales leadership presentations

  • Maintain databases and develop weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics reports

  • Other ad hoc responsibilities in support of sales finance and operations

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales Finance / Sales Operations

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others

  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask

  • Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive "can do" attitude and highly analytical; enjoys challenges

  • Detail oriented and comfortable working with large data sets

  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel. Tableau experience preferred.

Job Purpose The Senior Business Process Analyst is responsible for the Grid Modernization process definitions and improvements in any of the following areas: outage management, distribution automation construct and operate, ADMS integration with business applications, and other process centric activities. This role will partner with operational functions and process owners to establish process excellence and process measures. Modifying, monitoring, continually improving, and standardizing in-scope processes to achieve best-in-class efficiency, timeliness, quality and overall maturity. Working directly with other groups to define linkages between strategic objectives and process improvements using both analytical tools and process improvement techniques to help functional teams re-imagine new or existing operations to build and execute roadmaps. An ideal candidate shall have demonstrated knowledge in electrical distribution planning and application of grid technologies to improve grid operations and overall customer and stakeholder value today and create a transformation path for the grid of the future challenges represented by distributed generation and electrification. This role will be responsible for updating or developing the Business Process Definitions for the program in accordance with the enterprise process definition standards. The role will ensure the Business is ready for the future, manage the scope, inform interface design, inform engineering design for standards and work methods, and provide key input into a robust Workforce Enablement and Change Management strategy and plan. Key Accountabilities Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): * Providing analysis, coordination, process reviews and process development, and by creating detailed deliverables as needed for various initiatives. * Attend Grid Modernization process meetings and workshops to provide subject matter expertise on assigned business processes by participating in business process development, Use-case development and/or review, business requirement development and/or review, data and document requests and other responsibilities as required to support the program. * Works with key stakeholders to develop new back-end processes, procedures, policies and guidelines to reduce operating costs, streamline operations and improve the customer experience. * Conduct research, analyze findings, and recommend actions to ensure project success or mitigate risks. * Provide timely updates, complete action items and deliverables in a timely manner, contribute to and complete pre and post workshop related activities. * Participate in user acceptance testing, triage, business readiness activities including refresher training and post implementation SME support. Serves as primary liaison between project and business area (department, divisions, etc.) * Provide analytical support on the implementation of process improvement measurement efforts to align internal processes with "to-be" business processes. * In partnership with change management services as appropriate, support stakeholder analyses, and evaluate extent and impact of changes due to Grid Modernization, strategic initiatives, and organizational transformation. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Five or more years of experience working in an Analyst role. * Five or more years of experience performing detailed analysis, querying, investigating and resolving problems, drawing conclusions from complex data and information, and presenting results to management and key stakeholders. * One or more years of experience with executing business readiness activities in preparation for large process or system implementations. * Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy.
