Senior Business Analyst

This role is based onsite in Boise, ID no relocation.

We are in search of a Senior Business Analyst specializing in financial planning and accounting systems. You will be responsible for partnering with finance, IT and the broader organization to centralize forecasting and accounting processes and reporting utilizing various finance applications. In this role you will act as central support and subject matter expert, provide guidance to team members, document and implement solutions that improve and streamline our business processes bringing value to the organization. You will also use your understanding of finance processes to develop application governance, strategy and vision.

• Use end to end systems thinking to design, document and implement solutions to meet strategic and operational goals.
• Partner with end users to author business requirements and communicate those requirements to IT.
• Coordinate and lead functional and user acceptance testing and capture signoff.
• Support tool adoption by leading education sessions and training end users.
• Provide in-depth, domain specific analysis of technical problems or issues, research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
• Support end users with production issues and enable end user self-sufficiency in the application.
• Collaborate with IT to perform system integrations and provide ongoing business support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a BA; 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• Demonstrate understanding of finance processes and standard methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Demonstrable ability to manage projects and user testing
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail
• High proficiency in technical writing
• Proficient in SAP ECC, S4, Hana, SAC Planning, Power BI and SQL
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and other relevant software
