The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for working closely with the Procurement and Accounting teams to provide
analytical and reporting data to allow the Apartments Division to make sound business decisions. Key responsibilities
include setting up templates for monthly reporting; evaluating and summarizing bid analysis; manage required financial
data for SAP Shopping Cart uploads and enhancements and Budget support. This position may require (infrequent)
attendance to off-site meetings and presentations
Generate reporting and data validation.
Provide varied analytical support for the team.
Assist with quarterly vendor audits and business reviews.
Assist with cost containment initiatives aimed at controlling operational expenses, cost reduction, and vendor consolidation.
Prepare and present reports to executive management on a regular basis.
Prepare correspondence, memos and special assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain/update/enhance the worksheets needed for SAP Shopping Cart Uploads
Participate in both Cross Divisional Teams (All Irvine Co. Divisions) as well as Cross-Functional Teams (Apartments).
Work on both individual and team projects as assigned by Procurement Leadership.
Interface effectively with each level of the organization in a professional manner.
Duties are subject to evaluation and revisions due to system and workflow changes
Primarily works independently using sound judgment and applies all company rules, regulations and policies. Makes decisions that ultimately bind ICAC and Vendors contractually. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, initiative and confidentiality. Has ability to follow instructions, be detailed oriented, highly organized, problem solve, and have good follow-through on all projects.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, information technology, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Business/Financial Analyst
Possess strong financial analysis skills.
Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SQL and BI technologies preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to upper management.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and a team player. Google Suite experience a plus.
