Job Description:
This position reports to the Business Analyst Manager. The incumbent generally works on highly-complex projects involving multiple teams, systems, and applications. This position typically designs and develops approaches that are implemented by others. The incumbent works on multiple, simultaneous and detailed projects with minimal oversight and direction.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing business and technical consultation, analysis, and functional documentation required for the successful design and implementation of enterprise-scale digital products, including web and mobile sites and applications, and the back-end databases, applications, systems, and services that support them. The incumbent plays a critical role leading and supporting multi- disciplinary project teams through the project management life cycle from strategy, conceptualization, documentation, design, development, testing, deployment, training, support, and qualitative and quantitative assessment for improvement. The incumbent is an expert in best practices for web and mobile usability, content management systems, information architecture, requirements documentation, project management, software testing and quality assurance, and consults on these subjects to business and technical stakeholders at all levels within the organization and with outside contractors, agencies, and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a business, web development, digital marketing, computer science. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
six years of equivalent information technology, clinical, or healthcare insurance experience.
Experience providing business analyst support in a web or mobile software development environment.
Skilled in gathering business input and writing business requirements documentation with business implementation.
Experience with contemporary requirements gathering data, analyzing data, specifying data, validating data, and knowledge of data management practices.
Experience with system thinking skills to identify the interactions and relationships between the people, processes, and technology involved in an environment.
Experience applying web usability best practices, web usability research, data analysis, and quality improvement principles.
Experience optimizing content for digital properties.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience articulating web concepts to technical as well as non-technical staff.
Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Strong project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple projects and tight timelines.
Experience working collaboratively within a team as well as all levels of marketing, web content, and outside software development teams.
Experience building consensus and working effectively within a cross-functional team.
Experience providing business analyst support in a web or mobile software development environment.
Experience effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment to deliver results on time.
Experience using web content management systems and formal QA for software applications.
Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Usertesting.com.
Experience coding basic HTML.
Experience applying web usability best practices, web usability research, data analysis, and quality improvement principles.
Experience with business and technical writing, developing and giving presentations, and communicating business and technical requirements.
Experience effectively managing stakeholder expectations, eliciting stakeholder requirements, and articulating complex ideas simply to an executive level audience.
Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and prototypes that meet project goals for UX designers, software developers, data architects, QA testers, usability evaluators, and other technical stakeholders.
Experience analyzing content requests, determining priority, and creating an implementation plan based on stakeholder/user needs, content strategy, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g. Sitecore) and work management software (e.g. JIRA, Workfront).
Experience in a product management related position with a track record of successful execution.
Experience managing stakeholder expectations in an everchanging environment.
Experience developing digital consumer journeys, conducting consumer research, and interviewing a variety of stakeholders across an organization.
Experience consistently delivering an extraordinary customer experience when interacting with peers, end-users, and others.
Experience in a technical role requiring a keen attention to detail, and clear and concise communication skills.
Experience with business and technical writing, developing and giving presentations, developing training materials, providing training, and communicating business and technical requirements.
Experience effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment and delivering results on time.
Experience on a scrum agile product development team.
Experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience consistently delivering an extraordinary customer experience when interacting with peers, end-users and others.
Experience in a technical or healthcare environment role requiring a keen attention to detail and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with project management principles and managing multiple projects, tasks, and priorities.
Experience with Sitecore technologies.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
