Related is conducting a search for an experienced and highly qualified ERP Senior Business Analyst who is results-oriented and knowledgeable in ERP financial applications to Related's Information Technology department.
The Senior Business Analyst develops integrated solutions to resolve, improve and/or automate complex technical and business issues and has a significant role in the analysis, development and implementation of our major systems.
Supports the daily processes, governance and initiatives surrounding our enterprise financial applications. Performs business analysis and provides solutions through compiling and analyzing data, customer feedback, code, and current configuration.
Executes all aspects and phases of testing initiatives for moderate to large sized system implementations and/or enhancement projects. Writes test scripts and works with customers to tests system upgrades/fixes to ensure the system matches the business requirements.
Executes Company change management procedures and collaborates with our 3rd party development partners to create JDE OMW projects when needed.
Works with 3rd party vendors to gather and analyze business and system requirements for new releases. Assists with technical and/or business design solutions to ensure the system meets the business requirements.
Assists with project management tasks for application enhancements and new implementations, including stakeholder management, status reporting, and budget to actuals tracking.
The Senior Business Analyst must develop and manage strong relationships with key individuals within the organization. The following are key interaction points for which the Senior Business Analyst is responsible:
Liaison between 3rd Party vendors and business owners on financial system incident management, request process execution, new project initiative and status. Gathers and analyzes business requirements and interprets business needs
Effectively initiate, plan, schedule, control, and bring to closure multiple high priority projects on time and on budget.
Knowledge and Experience
ERP experience mandatory. JDE Experience preferred
Understands basic SQL
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Process-oriented with sound judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
Must be able work both independently and as part of a team
Strong customer service orientation
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to balance multiple demands and prioritize demands
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field
7+ years' experience in implementing and/or maintaining systems
3+ years experience with a financial systems
Application knowledge and proficiency in ERPs, JDE EnterpriseOne 9.1 is a plus
5+ years experience in implementing and/or maintaining system
Experience with integrating packaged solutions using a service-oriented approach
