Senior Business Analyst, ERP

Provide application support for the JDE World version ERP.

Manufacturing applications and various custom applications. Perform application design and production support for JDE Worldsoft ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) applications. Gather requirement and configure new process in JDE Worldsoft ERP application.

Prepare written user manuals and functional specification documentation. Gather the requirement with the end user and develop functional design document for the technical team for custom process.

Work closely with key business users to understand TO-BE process. Responsible for creating process flow diagram and detail activity documents for AS-IS process.

Write detailed functional specification documents for business user needs and create detailed end-user testing and training.

Collaborate with functional system owners and Key business managers to understand AS-IS process.

Conduct meetings and present process flow diagrams to get sign off from the functional system owners.

Participate in meetings and work with end-users to troubleshoot issues or identify and implement new solutions based on business needs.  Develop solution based on the TO-BE process, for any customization, develop functional design document and configuration document.

Involved in functional testing and system integration testing. Develop test scenarios, test scripts and test plan. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with key business users.

Create cut over activity and plan for go live. Develop reports to identify the data integrity using SQL skills.

Provide issue resolution support, break fix trouble shooting, application security, query reporting and application testing. Monitor the ServiceNow service management queue; respond to incidents and service requests. Work with AS/400 (SQL/400) query tools and JDE World Writer.

Pull data from different sources such as AS/400 (SQL 400) relational database and SQL databases.  Handle production job abends and corrections.

Troubleshoot and analyze complex data and effectively communicate issues and identify improvements.   Diagnose production issues, perform root cause analysis and provide effective resolutions. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer or Mechanical Engineering and 5 years functional support experience in the manufacturing process and JDEdwards (JDE) World (Versions A 7.3) application support.

Must have experience:  Performing application design and production support for JDE Worldsoft ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) applications.

Gather requirement and configure new process in JDE Worldsoft ERP application.

Diagnosing production issues, performing root cause analysis and providing effective resolutions. Working with AS/400 (SQL/400) query tools and JDE World Writer.

Preparing written user manuals and functional specification documentation. Developing reports to identify the data integrity using SQL skills.
