The Senior Business Analyst, US ERM Programs is accountable for supporting the Executive Director, Head of US ERM Programs in the development and ongoing implementation of the following:
Risk Data analyze and implement Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and related Management Information Systems (MIS) to track and report KRIs
Risk Reporting analyze and enhance existing reports and design new reports and MIS supporting integrated risk reporting.
Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) maintain an integrated data management (GRC) system.
Analyze and recommend system and process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Key Risk Indicator calculation and reporting, including automation of KRIs, processes for calibrating KRI limits, and dashboarding and reporting of KRIs.
Document business needs for Key Risk Indicator and other risk reporting.
Define and document requirements through user interviews, use case assessment, and analysis of Key Risk Indicator and other risk reporting documentation.
Identify themes by assessing related requirements and document interrelationships and associated business process flows.
Lead review and final sign off of requirements.
Assist in the development of test plans. Manage and/or support testing efforts. Work with stakeholders to develop user acceptance test criteria. Understand and develop data required to meet all test scenarios.
Where necessary, set appropriate Service Level Agreements in conjunction with stakeholders upon whom the reporting solutions have dependencies.
Develop, maintain, and continually improve a Microsoft Access application to inventory Key Risk Indicators and related metadata,
Manage workflows for the collection of Key Risk Indicator data including tracking data quality attestations and action plans associated with limit breaches,
Provide an "audit trail" for changes to Key Risk Indicators and risk appetite statements,
Maintain a time series of historical Key Risk Indicator levels, and allow for efficient production of summary reports and dashboards.
Perform business analysis for ad-hoc projects and initiatives, including assessment and documentation of requirements, process design and documentation, and participation in project planning and supporting implementation.
Analyze requirements for risk reporting to design new or modified risk reports, working with the Parent and other groups to leverage existing MIS and data platforms.
Analyze manually-generated reports and provide requirements and coordinate the automation of key risk reports.
Participate in, and support the creation of, new data sources or platforms as part of an ongoing effort to enhance the availability and aggregation of risk data in the US Region.
Update and maintain department policies and procedural documentation.
Maintain business process architecture/process maps for key processes. Document current state and future state process maps based on high level scope.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field; emphasis on management information systems is preferred
Strong practical knowledge and experience with relational database design and query language required.
Project management or business analytics certifications preferred
Risk management or related financial services experience, including knowledge of the financial markets preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
