We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to be based on-site with a high-profile e-commerce global organization in Seattle, WA. In this client-facing role, you will lead and develop the Program Management Office (PMO) team that oversees the finance and operational reporting for our team of Commercial Real Estate Project Managers. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and refinement of our business reporting systems, ensuring they deliver insightful, timely, and actionable data to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

• Champion automation and process improvement projects, utilizing advanced analytics to streamline operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.

• Execute high-level data analyses to identify business opportunities, trends, and potential issues, translating complex datasets into clear, compelling insights and strategies.

• Collaborate closely with other department leads to define business requirements and ensure the delivery of bespoke analytics solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Direct and oversee the work of a team business analysts, setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Provide expert mentorship to your team, enhancing their skills in data analysis, reporting, and project management, and encouraging their professional growth.

• Maintain and enforce rigorous data integrity and compliance standards across all reporting and analytics activities, swiftly addressing any discrepancies or anomalies.

• Act as the primary point of contact for high-level client queries and concerns, ensuring outstanding service and fostering long-term partnerships.

• Lead by example in adopting new technologies, methodologies, and analytical techniques to maintain a competitive edge and drive forward our business intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, with substantial experience in a senior business analysis role, including direct team leadership.

• Master's degree in business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field preferred.

• 8+ years's of related real estate work experience to include budgeting, finance and or business analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced data querying (e.g., SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot), data management/governance, visualization (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), and analytics platforms, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing business impact.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing analysts or similar roles, and a track record of building high-performing teams.

• Robust project management capabilities, adept at navigating complex, multi-faceted projects involving cross-functional teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting principles, capable of interpreting and leveraging financial data to drive business strategy.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging effectively with team members, executives, and clients alike.

• A proactive, self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and a commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and analytical tool advancements.

• Ability to effectively present information

• Spreadsheet skill set to include advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables, macros and database management required

• Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadline.
