Position Details:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology and our business objectives by owning project and enterprise level analysis, coordinate the efforts of multiple business analysts across projects, and drive successful completion of projects across teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge, best practices, and expertise in business analysis concepts, principles, and techniques to gather, document and manage business requirements

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of current products, processes, and business practices and lead remediation of any issues or gaps identified

  • Work closely with the product owner to understand product vision and assist in defining/refining Product Roadmap by applying value management principles

  • Lead/coordinate requirements elicitation sessions with business owner and stakeholder groups across the organization and document as-is and to-be functional requirements

  • Enhance and optimize existing processes and ensure that the team is adhering to business analysis principles and best practices

  • Review deliverables created by the BAs for quality and consistency

  • Manage ad hoc requests for investigative work and unique reporting needs

  • Plan and coordinate cross-team business analysis efforts and drive the project to completion

  • Perform impact analysis across products and responsible for identifying and/or designing business processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency

  • With minimal supervision analyze requirements to create Epics, features and user stories and maintain a backlog in line with the product roadmap

  • Work closely with UX/UI team to define mock-ups/wireframes

  • Collaborate with the business owner, technical teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements acceptance in an agile environment

  • Negotiate and communicate priority for new features and enhancements of payment products

  • Conduct Product backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning

  • Facilitate a team to consensus on the scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions

  • Closely track project progress across teams and manage nuances of scope creep effectively

  • Coordinate and ensure product documentation are up to date

  • Support development and QA teams during the development cycle and assist with UAT

  • Additional tasks as assigned by manager and team organization/planning

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology with 5+ years of relevant professional experience as an IT Business Analyst

  • 2+ years in planning and coordinating the efforts of a team of IT business analysts

  • Proven experience in gathering, organizing and documenting technical and non-technical functional requirements interacting with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in defining Business Analysis best practices

  • Strong experience working on various requirement gathering techniques

  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize multiple deliverables while working independently

  • Proven examples of leadership and ability to drive results

  • Demonstrated experience in leading workshops with senior stakeholders and technical teams

  • Self-motivated; adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced business model

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Experience working on Agile methodology is required

  • Experience in payment industry is preferred

The ideal candidates will be multi-talented, hands-on contributor who will provide implementation and support services of automated processes for the Outlink hosted Episys (Credit Union) clients. Candidates will be the main point of contact for these clients, ensuring success of day to day processing, implementation of new processes, research and troubleshooting of existing processes and setup and support of automation tools. This is not your typical BA position as you will play an active role in the above tasks including hands-on configuration of applications such as Episys, OpCon and MoveIT. This role can be worked out of the following locations: San Diego, CA, Allen, TX, Lenexa, KS or 100% Remote. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum 12 months of experience in one of the following prior roles; * IT or Application Support * Technical Analyst * Must be available to modify work schedule and provide after-hours support on a periodic on-call basis. * Must be available to work 1 mandatory weekend a year for failover event. * Experience with Episys and/or OpCon. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Develops and maintains a rapport with long-term credit union clients of JHA's outsourced delivery model, EASE. * Provides level one technical support of automated processes for clients via the corporate tracking software and automated call distribution (ACD) phone system. * Monitors incoming cases and resolves in accordance with Service Level Standards (SLS). * Understands and follows Business Process Lifecycle. * Implement and support automated processes in MOVEit, OpCon and Episys for existing EASE client base. * Performs needs analysis to develop automation specifications for small-scale projects. Defines the system and functional requirements. Performs requirements gathering and project scoping. * Implements and monitors automation process from initiation through delivery. * Establishes client expectations and project milestones and plans and executes tasks to meet both. * Works closely with internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects * Complies with Policies & Procedures and adheres to department standards. * Defines, documents, and publishes processes. Observes existing practices across multiple departments with similar functions and looks for opportunities to optimize practices and processes. * Collects data to identify root cause of problems. * Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. * Performs Impact Analysis of all recommended changes and standards. Presents and defends recommendations to mid-management and senior level management. * Analyzes trends and provides correlated studies of potential changes and outcomes. * Participates in post-project reviews to determine effectiveness, pertinence and acceptable runtimes of new processes. Identifies areas of improvement and adjusts configurations for further refinement. * Participates in an after-hours on-call rotation on a periodic basis to resolve critical nightly processing failures.
