The roles and responsibilities of the Coursera Finance team includes accounting, financial reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, and compliance. You are a result focused professional with experience managing or administering data and driving revenue and profitability. You have experience working cross-functionally with executive management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Help implement the IBM Planning Analytics revenue model and connect to the internal data warehouse via SQL queries and data consolidation

  • Partner with and support the University & Industry Partnerships, Content Strategy, and Business Intelligence teams

  • Synthesize insights from analytics, financial data, team interactions, and our own BI systems, presenting actionable recommendations to team leaders and execs

  • Track relevant Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and ongoing performance management and continuity of business operations outcomes

  • Help Finance liaison with key information systems that support business execution, including the Customer Relationship Management system (currently Salesforce), Project Management System, and BI systems

  • Help drive core sales operations functions including pipeline reporting, revenue forecasting, and quota evaluation

  • Establish and refine core metrics and dashboards (both internal and partner facing) that will drive key actions and intervention points

  • Proactively bring new process and automation ideas to the table to help the organization scale

  • Assist Sr Manager, Finance and FP&A on financial plan, forecast, and reporting

Your skills:

  • 7+ years in functional business and/or operations role; business to consumer and/or education/technology industry experience preferred

  • Strong SQL skills with preference building multidimensional data models

  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.

  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and drive insights through testing and analysis

  • Ability to build relationships across the organization and drive cross-functional results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to partner and influence senior leadership stakeholders

  • Experience building and maintaining corporate dashboards

  • IBM Planning Analytics (formerly IBM Cognos/TM1) experience preferred

This individual will be responsible for supporting our global Salesforce implementation internally. This position will specifically gather requirements, analysis and configuration implementation as a team member of our IT GTM (Go to Market) Services. This technical delivery team collectively is responsible to create and lead a world-class global operations function for all customer and partner facing online product and cloud services, ensuring high availability, keeping customer data secure at all times, and delivered as a coherent end-to-end proposition to drive revenue growth and customer success. This position requires technical business needs analysis, and business process improvement consulting primarily around our Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Partner Community). Salesforce.com Admin experience is required. This position responsibilities include development of functional and non-functional requirements and customer request prioritization from our Sales, Marketing, Channel and Customer operation groups. Acts as consultant by crafting business solutions for stakeholders combining people, process, and technology to support both the strategic direction of the company and functional area initiatives.
