Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will be responsible for creating reports and using data and statistical analysis to identify opportunities and applicable insights for Choctaw Nation internal customers, You will report to the Director of Business Intelligence.

Primary Tasks:

  • You will be responsible for administration of Business Intelligence tools to support Commerce Division operations, such as Anaplan, and WebFocus and provides management reports.+ Communicate with business leaders to gather and document requirements and prioritize new analysis requests; design scheduled and ad-hoc reports, including dashboards, complex financial models, and other dynamic reports.+ Define the top-level questions and insights that different partners are asking about products, customers, partners or platform and recommend strategies to help provide answers to those questions.+ Standardize data collection by developing methods for Data Extraction, Data Transformation, and Data Load processes using internal analysis systems such as Info Assist, WebFocus, and other internal planning solutions.
  • You will maintain master data management tables in data replication tables and subsets.+ Communicate scope of different projects with external vendors and manage project budgets and timelines.+ Build data marts for the divisions within the organization in a manner to insure performance of reports and resources.+ Train direct reports in usage of Division of Commerce Business Intelligence resources.+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, and computer science or a related field and four [4] years of directly related experience, OR eight [8] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.+ Basic understanding on SQL and understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Knowledge of master data management best practices and ability to apply to current data marts.+ Understand business indicators and trends and how they can be translated and communicated to important partners and understand future trends that may be important to observe, measure and respond to.
