We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible to support strategic initiatives driving the growth and profitability of Affirm's fastest growing product, AffirmGo. You will be responsible for operationalizing our GTM strategy through cross-functional team alignment and driving quantitative and qualitative analysis needed to support the business case of key initiatives that drive the key goals and KPIs of the AffirmGo business line.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving and analytical skills, business acumen, as well as interpersonal skills. This position is suited for someone who is ambitious, hardworking, and who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the details. This role is based in San Francisco and reports to Director, Revenue Strategy (AffirmGo Strategic Initiative Owner)
What You'll Do
Be the AffirmGo team's go-to partner for integrated financial modeling and data-driven analyses; develop detailed forecasts; manage the business line P&L to track top-line/bottomline KPIs on a monthly basis
Develop & monitor team KPI dashboard and work-stream trackers
Conduct custom analysis on complex and open-ended questions and present findings in a clear and concise manner to cross-functional stakeholders
Champion cross-functional initiatives project management from concept to rollout by defining and tracking work-streams, involving relevant stakeholders and orchestrating progress on quarterly and annual priorities
Partner cross-functionally with various teams including Product, Finance, Merchant Pricing Marketing, Sales, Credit, Capital Markets, Client Success, Data Science and Partnerships
Create thoughtful and succinct presentations to communicate the performance and progress of AffirmGo and the team's key work-streams
Keep a close eye on competitive landscape and market dynamics
What We Look For
Passion and drive to disrupt both the retail and lending industry for the better
3+ years of experience within investment banking, management consulting, private equity, and ideally more recent experience in strategy/business operations/strategic finance functions at a high-growth technology company
A passion for finding insights in data and driving rapid execution based on those insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills - written, verbal, and graphic - are a must
Strong work ethic - able to take ownership beyond own responsibility and manage timelines/deliverables effectively
Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
Strong working knowledge of analytical tools, such as SQL, Python and Excel
Enough laziness to find a faster way to do your least favorite tasks
