ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is hybrid.

The FOX Business & Data Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated team player to join our tech team supporting our Affiliate Distribution department. In this role, you will oversee and enhance our systems and processes related to OTT listing rights and metadata. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including tech, operations, and marketing to drive efficiency, accuracy, and revenue optimization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide solutions for affiliate distribution processes

• Analyze existing systems, tools, data, and workflows to identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth

• Design and implement business processes and workflows, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and FOX objectives

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technology projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development coordination, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

• Work closely with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of system enhancements and bug fixes

• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams

• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to SCTE 224 and applying them to enhance our systems and processes

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the broadcast media industry

• Experience working directly with senior decision makers

• Strong communication skills with proven experience as a team player who fosters collaboration and bridge building

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements

• Business curiosity and a thirst for understanding the intricacies of our business

• Ability to think innovatively and creatively to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions

• Prior exposure with building or supporting Salesforce apps

• Skills related to managing agile projects and working through the software development life cycle

• Be an expert process flow designer using tools such as Lucidchart or Visio

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• Strong knowledge of SCTE 224 and OTT broadcast rights

• Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

• Familiarity with the following: Smartsheet, Google Suite, Tableau, and Service Now

• Experience with and/or knowledge of linear media scheduling

• Solid understanding of Mulesoft and data domain architectures

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-142,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
