We are currently looking for a dynamic individual as a Senior Bulk Traffic Scheduler for our Plant in Conroe, Texas. This location will be on site sitting at the Conroe plant in support of Performance Products.

Job Scope

As a Senior Bulk Traffic Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling or our bulk shipments within and out of our Conroe plant. This includes all modes of transportation related to bulk shipping, road, railcar, and ISO tank. The candidate will use their relationships and expertise with the stakeholders at the plant and the transportation providers to ensure shipments are scheduled, depart, and arrive per the requested dates. In addition, this position will ensure Huntsman Environment, Health, & Safety standards are met in regards the inbound/outbound transportation.

As the Senior Bulk Traffic Scheduler, you will:

• Arrange for the pickup of outbound bulk shipments either direct to customers or to alternate locations. Will utilize the Transportation Management System to ensure outbound shipments are tendered and confirmed for pickup.

• Will communicate with production planning, shipping, supply chain planners to confirm product will be available at the time of loading/shipping for an order.

• Will monitor progress of in transit shipments and should there be delays, will communicate with the carriers to determine reason and what next available ETA will be.

• Will communicate progress of delays with all stakeholders, including customer service, supply chain, and commercial teams.

• Will be responsible for billing out railcars for all outbound rail shipments.

• In the event there is a delay of bringing in railcars for raw material, or delays in having our railcars pickup up by rail provider, will contact local trainmasters for update and resolution.

• Will be responsible for post goods issuing the outbound deliveries per the Huntsman Financial policies.

• For any transportation needs for third party customers in which Huntsman is to arrange, this role will be responsible for logging into customers appropriate system for transportation arrangements.

• Will be responsible for extraction of transportation documents within SAP, Bill of lading, packing list, certificate of analysis, etc. and ensure they are delivered to appropriate parties.

• Work with our main entrance gate personnel to resolve issues for instances such as weight discrepancies, paperwork issues for inbound and outbound loads. In addition will confirm if carriers are approved to enter the Conroe facility.

Required Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in transportation logistics related to chemicals and/or related industries.
• 49 CFR hazmat Certification: Shipping Hazardous Materials by Ground.
• 2+ years of experience with billing rail cars.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of domestic/transportation process for chemicals, including bulk, packaged, and rail.

• Proficiency in coordinating and scheduling freight to carriers for truck or rail.

• SAP Sales and Distribution.

• Must have moderate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.

• Effective communication both verbal and written.

• Knowledge of required shipping documentation and applications, including Bill of Ladings SDS, Certificate of Analysis, Customer Documents.

• Ability to make quick decisions based upon experience.
