Job Summary:
As a Senior Building Maintenance Worker, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities. From conducting preventive maintenance inspections to repairing plumbing lines and electrical systems, you'll play a vital role in keeping our buildings functional and safe for all occupants. Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct thorough preventive maintenance inspections on equipment, parts, and structures to guarantee safe and continuous operations. Establish and monitor maintenance schedules and procedures, ensuring adherence to standards.
HVAC Maintenance: Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This includes inspecting, lubricating, calibrating, testing, and repairing various components to ensure optimal performance.
Plumbing and Electrical Work: Repair and replace plumbing lines, fixtures, and electrical wiring to maintain safe and sanitary operations. This involves tasks such as installing fixtures, troubleshooting electrical circuitry, and repairing or replacing damaged components.
Building Construction and Remodeling: Assist in building or remodeling interior and exterior structures to meet maintenance needs. This includes constructing walls, installing fixtures, performing precision painting, and completing various carpentry tasks.
Record Keeping: Complete necessary reports and records to document tasks performed and associated costs. This involves accounting for equipment, materials, and labor used, as well as estimating project costs and ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance duties to ensure the safe and continued operation of facilities. This includes inspecting contractor work, performing asbestos removal duties, and maintaining key systems and locking mechanisms.
