Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Budget Analyst to join our team at Bolling AFB, D.C. to provide budget analysis, complex issue resolution to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Senior Budget Analyst
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and reconcile the organization's Asset Valuation and Tracking (AV&T) Report
Gather AV&T reports from multiple sites (approx. 30) and consolidate aggregate accounting system reports. Plan and execute travel to sites as needed to facilitate asset reporting.
Perform analysis and provide asset validation and tracking schedules in support of the asset audit readiness effort
Coordinate asset accountability activities with the Contractor CFO team and the Government Program Management offices
Communicate with sites to resolve any discrepancies
Compute asset depreciation
Conduct site training on proper AV&T reporting
Maintain an understanding of the changes/updates to Federal Asset Accounting Regulations and determine if the organization's asset process requires modifications
Update the asset reporting rules, processes, and procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferably in a financial or business discipline) or six (6) additional years of relevant experience
Minimum of 4 years in experience in accounting for assets
Ability to travel within the CONUS (approximately 3 days per month)
Ability to interact with multiple personnel to resolve issues and answer questions
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Experience organizing asset schedules from many sites (approx. 30) and be able to describe in writing and verbal presentations the outstanding items for each site
Desired Qualifications
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Experience with Logistics
Knowledge of Momentum Financials
Expert using advanced features of MS Word and MS Excel
Experience with Special Access Programs
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility and be JAFAN 6/0 eligible
Have had an SSBI conducted within the last 6 years
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
