East West Bank is seeking a Senior BSA Analyst. The Senior BSA Analyst will review BSA reporting, monitoring high risk customers' activities and file SARs. Primary function is to complete Enhanced due diligence reviews of the bank's customers that may have potentially suspicious or unusual activity.

Responsibilities

  • Performing research, analysis and investigation

  • Complete EED reviews of the bank's high risk customers

  • Researching, analyzing and investigation of an EDD file, documenting the results of the review, and escalating any potentially suspicious activity findings to management

  • Understanding bank's products, services, customers and geographical locations in order to conduct effective research. Investigation of accounts.

  • Performs additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • 5+ years in banking, BSA compliance regulations including filing SARs

  • Ability to perform research on account activity and detect out of pattern behavior

  • Well organized, accuracy, critical thinking to prioritize workload and use sound judgement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

As an East West Bank employee, you will be part of a growing and stable organization that provides career path development opportunities while serving a growing and profitable market. As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include: * Review OFAC alerts and perform screening, communication with business units for information relating to OFAC reviews * Keep abreast on various OFAC sanctions and related regulations * perform screenings related to FinCEN314a, 311 special measures, negative news, PEP, etc * Review and maintain various BSA reports for accuracy, monitor and refer suspicious activities to the appropriate BSA units for further investigation * Coordinate work items amongst team members * Assume other responsibilities as needed Qualifications/Requirements: * 3-5 years of BSA or banking experience * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strength for accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to manage OFAC alert volumes and meet production goals * Data entry skills * Ability to multi task * Service oriented with sense of urgency, strong reasoning and analytical skills * PC literate Windows/Excel/PowerPoint #CB Qualifications East West Bancorp, Inc.
