Due to MSG's continued growth in our Transportation Division, a new opening is available for a Senior Bridge Engineer in Charleston, WV!

Responsibilities Include

• Ability to use/utilize all known engineering principles with our bridge engineering operations in a teaming environment

• Thorough understanding of bridge design, bridge inspection, and retaining wall design

• Planning development, and completion of other related structural engineering tasks will be required

• Project assignments will be primarily in Ohio, West Virginia, and Michigan with additional out of state assignments possible

• Prepare bridge layouts, material quantity calculations, and construction specs of all bridge types

• Check on drawings from drafters, and designers for quality and/or deficiencies

• May serve as the contact for client, other design professionals, and contractors

• Position may include design work

Licenses & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in Bridge Engineering

• MicroStation and OpenRoads experience required - Civil 3D is a plus!

• Registered or willing to obtain PE

• Must be able to work independently and with others as a team member

• Communication skills are a must, as this will be in a teaming environment
