Job Description:

What will you work on?

As Senior Brand Manager, you are tasked with the success of brands or products. Plan, develop and direct marketing efforts to increase the value and performance of a specific brand.

How will you create impact?

• Support and help direct all marketing activities including (but not limited to): licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research for a select group of brands, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization

• Assist in managing projects related to product development activities including (but not limited to): preparing new product start documents, product costing, turn over transmittals, packaging and product briefs

• Negotiate Pricing, profitability and Vendor cost Approval management and manage internal competitive pricing

• Administer the critical path analysis process, ensuring all time lines are adhered to, all details are properly recorded, and that all parties are informed of relevant information where required

• Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Sales, Planning) as well as with outside partners (vendors, licensors, inventors) both nationally and internationally at all stages of product development to ensure the smooth running of all projects under your care

What are your skills and experience?

• Working knowledge of a variety of marketing tactics from TV, print, digital and consumer promotions

• Direct experience with the full product development cycle, with a track record of thriving in a growth oriented and changing environment

• Direct experience dealing with overseas development and manufacturing facilities

• Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Management experience an asset

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills

• Experience working with international brands and retail distribution channels coupled with a University or College degree in Commerce or related fields

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in California is $110,000 to $140,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multistate employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
