Brex is looking for a senior brand designer to join the Brand Studio, a cross-disciplinary group of creatives including designers, copywriters, media buyers, user research, and marketing strategists. Our team's mission is to build a category-defining brand and meaningfully move key business metrics by delivering world-class creative.

Your role will be to art direct and execute a variety of creative projects across marketing collateral, digital experiences, out-of-home, communications, environmental, and more. This is a collaborative role that will require you to work closely with marketing leaders, web and product teams, and the rest of the Brand Studio team to ship effective brand marketing projects and campaigns. We're looking for a creative problem solver who can think strategically but also loves getting into the details to ensure final creative is fine-tuned and perfected down to the pixel.


  • Collaborate with our internal partners across marketing, web, product, and beyond to develop concepts and execute world-class creative

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary creatives on the Brand Studio team to bring ideas to life

  • Represent the design team to internal stakeholders, and provide input that will help shape planning and strategy

  • Deliver and solicit feedback to continually improve the Brex brand and raise the quality and craftsmanship of our output; maintaining brand guidelines

  • Clearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of partners and stakeholders

  • Provide feedback and art direction to external creative agencies and vendors

What We Value:

  • 5+ years design/art direction experience

  • Appetite for problem-solving and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments

  • Portfolio demonstrating ability to implement a combination of strategic, conceptual and design skills creating original, persuasive, and visually compelling work

  • Experience developing creative brand and acquisition campaigns

  • Experience collaborating closely with marketing organizations

  • Experience designing for web, email, offline media, and video

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience art directing photographers/videographers, illustrators, or 3D designers

  • Experience on an internal creative team

  • Motion Design, Video, or Illustration experience

Job Description From the beginning, Design has played a critical role in Butterfly's growth, brand, and product strategies. From crafting thoughtful and innovative interfaces for our users, to taking bold risks and breaking industry marketing and brand norms. As a Senior Visual Designers you will join a team of like-minded, mission-driven designers bringing more affordable medical imaging to the world - by creating experiences and brand touch points that are simple, human, and bold. As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: * Help define and protect our brand * Design bold marketing campaigns, human social assets, and simple digital experiences (A successful candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates familiarity with most of these kinds of projects.)
