C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Execute timely release of vouchers and payments to carriers, ensuring seamless invoicing for our customers

  • Maintain high service levels by handling multiple incoming calls daily and ensuring accurate logging and data entry

  • Utilize data analysis and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues, collaborating with carriers to resolve paperwork issues and address billing/open payables questions effectively

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, offering valuable insights and enhancing operational efficiency

  • Cultivate strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional service and fostering open communication

  • Collaborate effectively within the team, offering support to colleagues and coaching less experienced team members when needed

  • Continuously hone your skills, deepen your understanding of processes, procedures, and systems to expertly address carrier inquiries, resolve billing concerns, and troubleshoot issues with precision and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Minimum 4 years of data entry or call center experience

  • Minimum 1 year of strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal) experience

Preferred:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

  • Previous 1 year of experience with the Navisphere system

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills with an ability to deal with conflict/sensitive topics

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to use own judgement and make sound decisions

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • Takes initiative and approaches work with persistence

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, professional, and deadline driven environment

  • Effective in multi-tasking and prioritizing their skills and time

  • Strong strategic orientation, influence skills and business savvy
