Ideally this position will be located in Daleville or Muncie, Indiana; applicants desiring to work in another location with the FMB footprint will also be considered. Other possible work locations include: Indianapolis, Fort Wayne or Lafayette, Indiana; Columbus, Ohio or Monroe, Michigan.Position Goals:Oversee administration and compliance of the health, welfare and retirement plans. Responsibilities:
* Assist with reviewing proposed plan amendments and other regulatory-required forms and provide recommendations to management. * Manage the administration, delivery and communication of employee benefit programs, includes maintaining records of enrollments and change in benefits. * Assist with researching, analyzing and evaluating benefit plans and programs. Make recommendations for changes to management. * Participate in the development of communication strategy for employee benefit changes, open enrollments, COBRA and HIPAA rights; execute on the communication strategy, may involve creating documents, webinars, presentations, email communication, newsletters, etc. * Utilize business intelligence (BI) and advanced excel for complex analysis and reporting. * Provide customer service to employees and retirees on matters related to employee benefits. Interprets benefit policies and procedures when employees have questions. * Provide oversight of internal and external benefit plan audits. Manage and audit payroll deduction changes. * Conduct audits and compliance reviews of benefits packages to ensure ACA compliance. * Oversee the coordination of new employee benefit communication. * Coordinate the administration and promotion of employee wellness program. * Ensure processes are compliant with rules set forth by regulatory agencies. * Participate in mergers and acquisitions to ensure benefits are appropriately integrated. * Coordinate with EAS in system setup for open enrollment process. * Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with benefit vendors. * Monitor benefit trends and stay abreast of applicable benefit legislation. * Review benefit vendor invoices and prepare vouchers for approval.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:In addition to the list below, it is understood that all positions with the company require individuals who possess a pleasant and friendly attitude, project sensitivity towards customers and fellow employees, and maintain a neat and clean professional appearance. Requirements:

Direct Management Exercised: None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepare work papers reflecting the results of audit assignments. Complete planned audits and special assignments in a high quality fashion and ensure the deviations from Corporate policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, other control weaknesses, and opportunities to enhance operational efficiency are communicate to the appropriate personnel for resolution. * Prepare regular reports for management identifying deficiencies noted, recommended correction action and status of corrective steps being taken. * Develop and maintain audit programs for each area of the Corporation to ensure effective audit coverage of all organizational activities. * Review work of subordinates for accuracy and completeness. Provide training to new and existing employees to enhance audit quality and effectiveness. * Recommend effective internal controls to promote accurate processing of transactions, safeguarding and protection of corporate assets, prevention of fraud, ensure regulatory compliance as well as fairness of financial information. * Monitor accounting standards and regulatory changes and perform appropriate tests to determine if operating procedures and controls are in place to ensure compliance with the new requirements. * Coordinate internal audit work with the Corporation's public accounting firm to ensure that effective audit services are provided to the Corporation and audit costs are minimized. * Manage internal audit resources and activities to ensure maximum efficiency. * Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with other officers and employees. * May require IT experience in general controls & controls around information technology development.
