Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to support a world-renowned biotechnology organization in the Silver Spring, MD area. (Note: This is a hybrid role with on-site requirements being ~3 days per week.)

Responsibilities for the Senior Benefits Analyst include:

  • Provide day-to-day support and oversight of global employee benefits, including the deployment and administration of high deductible health plans and leave management programs.

  • Serve as primary point of contact/SME for all company-provided benefits, including medical, dental, vision, high deductible HSA, FSA, group life insurances, STD, LTD, 401k, and leave administration.

  • Partner with Benefits & HRIS leadership to support seamless benefits integrations.

  • Prepare payments for benefits related invoices and ensure taxable fringe benefits are accounted for as needed.

  • Maintain, review, update, and manage the submittal of HR benefits documents.

  • Ensure HR programs and company-wide policies are implemented and adhered to.

Qualifications for the Senior Benefits Analyst include:

  • 2+ years of benefits administration experience in a professional industry or private sector is required.

  • Experience administering high-deductible HSA plans is required.

  • Experience with HRIS and Benefits Administration (Workday experience is a plus)

  • Understanding of benefits-related laws and regulations, especially for leave-related benefits programs (FMLA, parental and medical leave, etc.)

o Experience with Canadian or international benefits administration is preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.

Compensation for the Senior Benefits Analyst includes:

  • Salary Range: approximately $95,000 - $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience
