Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Description The Software engineer will be working on Google Cloud Platform Migration for Event Router and Geofence Platform applications. The Software Engineer will work on a product team and collaborate with product owner, product manager to design, develop and other software engineers to deliver quality software product.

Candidate will support current and future connected vehicle programs using Java technologies and Google Cloud Platform. As vehicle consumers are expecting more features that combine their vehicles, mobile devices, and other systems to provide value in daily life, this client has been instrumental in driving innovative technology solutions. Skills and Requirements 5 years of Java development experience on Spring Boot framework o 80-100% backend 3 years of experience working within a cloud-based environment (Azure or GCP preferred) Experience with at least one event driven messaging system (pub-sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Mongo, Cosmos DB) Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, etc. Experience with TDD and Junit/Mockito testing Bachelor's Degree Must be willing to go onsite 2-3 days a week out of the below locations: Dearborn, MI Allen Park, MI Ann Arbor, MI San Diego, CA Cary, NC Seattle, WA Sunrise, FL Palo Alto, CA Atlanta, GA Chicago, IL Austin, TX Compensation: $60/hour to $72/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
