Akkodis is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer with Product to Post-Sales Lifecycle Experience for a Full-time position with our client.

• Position: Principal Backend Engineer with Product to Post-Sales Lifecycle

• Salary: 180K - 315K (DOE)

• Location: San Jose, CA (On site - 5 days)

The E-commerce Fundamental Business Team develops core product platforms. It delivers robust technical solutions for global e-commerce scenarios, ensuring high quality, extensibility, and stability across product management, checkout/payment processing, and after-sales support.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.

• Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

• Experience with E-Commerce or Monetization Products

• Strong software programming capabilities and exhibits good code design and coding style

• Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security, and distributed systems design

• Fluency in developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++

• In-depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce businesses, including product listing, catalog, category, inventory, etc.

• Responsible for continuously improving the stability, scalability, and quality of the existing services and architecture of platform systems.

• Responsible for the investigation and implementation of new technologies related to e-commerce business.
