As a part of establishing an Ericsson Production Site in the US we are now looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to drive Ericsson's Automation journey within our Manufacturing arena. Key aspects of the role is to secure smart production automation by establishing automation solutions and connecting them to a smart manufacturing network.

Our Exciting Opportunity:

  • Build up smart automation solutions within Ericsson's manufacturing

  • Connect the automation solutions into a network to enabling connectivity and analytics to build up smart automation solutions.

  • Ensure the site uses state of the art automated final assembly (FA) process and technology

  • You will support the production with engineering competence to ensure seamless operation of automated solutions

  • Participate in NPI projects and drive successful introduction of new products, production and test concepts from design phase to volume production.

  • Support the global supply organization in outbound/inbound production transfers.

  • Establish a strong network across various Ericsson organizations such a Supply, R&D, Sourcing, Finance and other Ericsson production sites to drive E2E cross functional improvements of the business.

  • Drive systematic improvements through analysis of KPIs and other performance data.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering with focus on automation and robotics or other similar degree.

  • Minimum of 10 years manufaturing, automation and robotics solutions and design.

  • Software knowledge such as programming of PLC's, Python, C++, MatLab, etc.

  • Manufacturing processes knowledge

  • The motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools

  • Ability to be a team player and work with multicultural teams.

  • Initially this role will require travel oversees for training

Someone who loves to code, loves business application development, and is a creative, conceptual thinker able to persuade others and work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. * Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on mobile applications, framework services (SOAP, REST) and web applications * Develop test automation scripts using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso and other scripting languages * Preparation of accurate and detailed test plans and test cases * Quickly learn and use in-house and external testing tools for test case design and execution * Clearly document and report software defects, issues and enhancements via defect tracking tools * Work effectively in a team setting – take direction, proactively seek out information and build productive working relationships while multitasking in a fast-paced environment * Lead the overall QA Automation Activities. * Serve as a QA Engineer Lead on an Agile/Scrum team to define user scenarios and implement tests to verify those scenarios are accounted for in the software * Create and maintain test data * Review user stories to ensure that requirements are testable and validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process * Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports for load and performance testing on multiple applications of varying size under the Above Restaurant Technology Portfolio * Support User Acceptance Testing as needed * Perform data validation residing in the files or database as part of functional/regression testing. * Ability to analyze test results for trends and patterns of failure, problem solve and perform basic investigative testing techniques. Minimum Requirements * 5-7 years of IT QA experience with predominately mobile or web applications * Experience building testing automation frameworks and solutions * 3+ years of Automation Testing using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso and other scripting languages * 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum environment * 2+ years of AWS Cloud and its services with a good understanding of cloud-based applications and application deployment * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience * Knowledge of industry-standard application architectures, design patterns and technology standards and best practices * Clear communication and ability to curate information for various audiences * Extensive experience in designing and developing highly scalable, highly available and maintainable internet applications * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and stay up to date on new technologies and trends * Experience in API test automation, preferably on Microservice architecture * Technical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, MongoDB preferred * Experience with testing Single Page Applications (Angular JS) * Experience with load testing tools JMeter, RedLine * Experience with tools in Android Test Support Library * Experience with performance or power consumption tests * Experience with networking, cellular network, and signal and protocol analyzers * Exposure to Android SDK, XCODE and working with simulators will be a plus for the position * Experience with Browser Stack, Perfecto is preferred * Mobile Application Automation testing is preferred Company Summary Who We Are Founded in 1958, Pizza Hut - a subsidiary of Yum!
