Job Description:

  • Putting together a test automation framework using egg
    Plant Functional
  • Hands-on contributor to build and enhance solutions to complex technical problems advancing test automation, continuous testing and continuous integration capabilities for product development teams.
  • Evolving automated test framework to achieve higher test throughout, with increased accessibility and test execution flexibility.
  • Perform reviews of automation and application code
  • Ability to quickly understand and design automation framework as per the application need.
  • Work with other automation onshore/offshore team members/ peers to achieve common automation goal/vision.
  • Support project related automation activities for onshore/offshore project teams
  • Ability to run solo projects or as team to completion with good communication to stakeholders
  • Mentor Implementation Best Practices for Selenium and Eggplant
  • Design and develop test automation framework

Requirements

  • Experience in test automation using EggPlant
  • 2+ Years' Experience with Selenium implementations in either Java, Ruby, Watir, or .NET
  • Independent problem solver
  • Solid knowledge of QA fundamentals
  • Strong Problem Solving Skills
  • Ability to do business travel
  • Additional Plus:
    • Has C#/Microsoft experience
    • BS Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in development is nice to have
  • Innovative problem-solver
  • Experience working with an Offsite/offshore team including coordinating workload allocation

The Sr. Automation Engineer supports emerging technologies that enhance the business and automate rile based and repetitive tasks. The position will require the ability to translate business requirements into RPA as well as adept at understanding the nuances of various business systems. Sr. Automation Engineer will also help support the 6 Operating Guidelines for WB Technology: Be Curious, Own It, Embrace Change, Engage and Influence, One Tech, One WB, and Respect * Ensures that the test suite portfolio is comprehensive, up-to-date, repeatable and automated where possible. * Monitors overall delivery of the Robotics program, including adherence to Robotics CoE SLAs. * Executes the automation policy and procedure standards, and ensures the best industry practices are followed. * In conjunction with the outsourced RPA partner, drives the Robotics program, using quality assessment tools, audits and practices. Assist Robotics management and developers in the design and implementation of its automation strategy and program. Collaborate with product management providing direct input on feature and usability design and improvements/enhancements for WB Technology applications. * Reviews application specifications and works with project teams to gain in-depth understanding of system requirements, including the system software architecture, design, internal and external interfaces, use cases, etc. Designing how best to approach automation to ensure proper process automation is achieved while balancing schedule and budgetary constraints. Determining automation duration schedules. Executes tests and validates test results as required. Develops and maintains automated processes. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during automation and testing activities and provides process improvements to management. Design automated test scripts. What do we require from you? * Bachelor's Degree required, Computer Science/Engineering and/or related experience preferred. * Bachelor's Degree preferred. Equivalent work experience can be considered. * 3+ years RPA development experience in Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere or equivalent RPA industry leading platforms. * 3-5 years hands-on programming/scripting experience specifically aligned with RPA and robotic implementations. * Certified UiPath or Blue Prism Developer accreditation (or other equivalent RPA industry leading platform accreditation). * Automation experience in SAP, Workday & Salesforce. * 8+ years hands-on experience in automated testing. * Experience with business process reengineering preferred. * Create or update documentation including architecture diagrams and design documents (i.e. Solutions Design Document) in support of development efforts. Estimate development efforts and provide guidance on development timelines. * Experience in automation using OCR engine/s. * Experience in scheduling and debugging using RPA tool scheduler or command center. * Track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on an enterprise scale. * Solid understanding of Robotics processes, approaches, methodologies and development lifecycle. * Identify reusable components and patterns as well as ensure consistently in design across use-cases built using RPA. * Contribute to the development of governance, methodologies and procedures to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel of RPA solutions. * Strong ability in root cause analysis of issues, resolving testing issues, and driving issues to closure. * Conduct code reviews with peers to ensure each increment adheres to original version as designed in the user story (or Process Definition Document) and adheres to highest quality standards. * Respond to support inquiries for use-cases to make quick repair to keep use-cases running in production. * Participation in the RPA Center of Excellence (COE): help define and drive application standards across the RPA platform. * Good to have experience in integrating RPA with AI (ML & NLP). * Good to have QA test automation experience developing Automation Scripts using Selenium, Worksoft, UFT or other test automation tools. * Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player. * Ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment. * Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication. * Natural leader, comfortable working with all levels of individuals. * Knowledge of Warner Bros. or Entertainment Industry business processes is highly desired. * Knowledge of current Warner Bros. systems and business processes (across divisions), and business applications architecture and current systems is preferred. * Ability to respond well to feedback and coaching.
