Job Description:

Senior Auditor position responsible for developing and executing an audit program designed to independently validate the completeness and accuracy of data across the enterprise. Candidate will be responsible for testing the completeness and accuracy of data from point of origin, to systems of record, through business use (e.g. reporting) by independently querying systems data.

Additionally, candidate will be responsible for reviewing the key processes, risks and controls within the business and control functions as it relates to data and as outlined in the Enterprise Data Management standard. Associate will assist in identifying business/processes requiring coverage, developing test plans and working with business audit teams to execute testing. Audit testing results across the enterprise will be pulled together to establish a point of view on Bank of America Data Control Effectiveness.

Associate will be required to communicate and deliver results with top executives across the enterprise, drive issue identification and work with businesses and control functions to build solutions. Assist in the ownership of key regulatory matters related to data management. Strong problem solving, critical thinking, communication and project management skills are required.

Required Job Skills:

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical mindset required

SQL / SAS Programming capability or other automation experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Project Management skills including multi-tasking

Information Technology or data experience

Desired Job Skills:

Advanced degree or certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA etc)

Knowledge of Bank of America business processes and front end application system

The job responsibilities require a good understanding of the Software Life Cycle (SLC) processes and RTCA-DO-178B. In this role of Software Quality Auditor, you will plan and accomplish a wide variety of quality activities, with moderate guidance related to software development and the use of software in test, design and analysis activities Responsibilities include: * Review internal and supplier documentation to assure adequacy of definition, and conformance to all P&W requirements * Assist in the development of the yearly audit schedule as required * Evaluate and examine Embedded and Modeling software processes for compliance and improvement opportunities * Evaluate proposed corrective action plan and its effectiveness at eliminating the root cause of the discrepancy * Follow-up to assure the plan is effectively implemented * Familiar with coding standard, verification and validation, version control, change control process, access control, archive, backup and recovery, configuration management, etc * Travel may be up to 10% Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering or related technical field of study preferred * 3+ years of experience in a Quality, Engineering, Aerospace or other Technical role * US citizenship required due to government contracts Preferred Qualifications: * ASQ or CQA auditor certification is a plus * Strong understanding of process capability including AS9100, RTCA-DO-178Band AS9115 * Detail and results oriented with good problem solving skills * Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities * High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement * Excellent Judgment and professional maturity * Ability to create positive relationships and craft clear communication * Computer skills- Proficient in Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project * Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities * Excellent communication skills Do you wish you could put your technical expertise to better use?
