Job Description:

Audit Manager / Data Scientist role will be responsible for designing audit strategy, coverage model and execution of data quality reviews confirming accuracy and completeness of data, re-performance of key data transformations, data quality controls and fit for purpose across enterprise top reports (CCAR, 5G, NFRR, Risk Data Aggregation, etc.). Associate will be responsible for managing a minimum of 8 resources including day to day activities, career objectives and development. Associate will manage integrated audit work with business audit teams to provide data SME knowledge skillsets.

Associate will be responsible for establishing relationships with Enterprise Data Management executives and corresponding Compliance and Risk partners, and driving change across the enterprise. Additional responsibilities include finalizing the design of an Audit tracking tool to capture data coverage across Capture, Transport and Use standards across the enterprise, overseeing the development of audit programs, and driving communication with executives and regulators.

Main focus is on internal, solely driven by knowledge of our systems.

The role of an Audit Manager: Oversees and executes assigned areas of audit work, providing day to day coaching and guidance to teammates.

Executes audit strategy for the sound application of risk based auditing by defining audit scope, audit program, and test procedures. Typically acts as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC). Demonstrates strategic thinking and supports change. Oversees audit testing to ensure timely execution within quality standards and conformance to audit policies and procedures.

Assesses issues for impact to business processes, controls and strategies, recommends severity ratings and escalation of broad themes or trends. Drafts quality and timely audit reports and shares results with business leaders. Manages business partner relationships when conducting specific audits; primary engagement is with line management.

Exercises critical thinking and judgment to effectively influence management to improve the control environment. When leading an audit engagement, is responsible for day to day coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Fosters an inclusive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • College degree required.

  • 5 -7 years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive experience in planning and delivering audits and/or specialist skills (eg. technology, advanced operational knowledge or experience, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCAR and Model Risk Management knowledge is a plus.
  • CISA or CIA certifications are a plus.

Assist in guiding project through local, State and Federal building restrictions and code compliance. Accurate budgeting, scheduling, logistics, ICRA, ILSM from conception through completion. Follow the CAR/PAC process for pre-validation, validation and request for full funding. Take a leadership role in finding new methods/approaches to help execute work faster and more efficiently. Challenge assumptions and bring new ideas to the table that could benefit the entire department in executing our role. Maintain a vendor ranking and ensure we reinforce success by re-engaging firms that perform excellent work and value the relationships in the system. Collecting historical cost and schedule data to utilize in predicting future cost and time to execute projects (send to corporate at projection completion). Ensure all parties on the project have executed a contract and have provided all the required insurances prior to commencing work. Ensure the highest ethical standards when dealing with our vendors. Ensure vendors compliant with the terms of the agreement and that the business terms agreed are fair to both the vendor. Use business term guidelines. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred. At least 5 years of hospital construction experience required Travel 25% to 50%; strong leadership skills; specific construction implementation experience, some development experience, code and permit knowledge, negotiating skills, strong interpersonal skills to lead vendors, solid business decision making skills.
