Age of Learning is seeking an Senior Audio Engineer. A successful candidate will have experience in all areas of audio production, with specific proficiency in key audio components mixing to picture, music mixing, sound design, voice production and technical areas.

The role of Senior Audio Engineer will work with post-production and internal development teams, interface with video editors, directors, producers, and deliver a variety of content for varying projects. Candidates should be able to identify, describe and demonstrate first-hand an exceptionally high audio quality bar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to solid interpersonal skills are very important as you must be able to interact well with other departments. The ideal candidate will have a passion and drive to create a world class audio experience.

This is a full-time, in-house position.


  • Manage the mixing and audio post production pipeline

  • Own all scheduled premixing and final mix sessions to meet production specifications

  • Conform edited sessions

  • Manage audio file transfers between internal and external studios

  • Work with Coordinator and Audio Director to maintain established production schedule

  • Assist with VO editing workflow

  • Monitor quality of all deliverables

  • Mentor junior team members in audio post-production pipeline

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years minimum of professional post production audio mixing experience

  • Experience with digital music production and editing

  • Experience in sound editorial work

  • Experience working specifically with Pro Tools

  • Experience engineering vocal recording sessions

  • Experience editing and conforming sound-to-picture

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Self-motivated

  • A team player who is flexible, adaptive and seen as a problem-solver

  • A positive/proactive work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Musicianship

  • Familiarity with a variety of audio middleware applications
