We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation/Worker’s Compensation Attorney to join our growing legal team in Chicago. Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Handle a caseload of personal injury litigation and worker’s compensation matters from inception to resolution.

• Legal Research and Documentation: Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.

• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.

• Law and Regulation Updates: Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in personal injury litigation.

• Client Interaction: Provide clients with legal advice and guidance, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

• Team Leadership: Assist in building and leading the Chicago office team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Marketing and Outreach: Participate in community and networking events to establish and grow the firm's presence in the Chicago area.

• Training and Mentoring: Mentor junior attorneys and staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and careers.

• Compliance: Ensure all legal activities comply with ethical standards and the firm's policies.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation and/or worker’s compensation.

• Proven track record of successful case outcomes.

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to providing exceptional client service.

• Ambitious and self-sufficient with a desire to grow within the firm.
