KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Help execute process and strategy improvements related to supply chain and operational improvement projects

  • Serve as a resource and key team member on client projects

  • Support progress against project milestones to help ensure timely delivery of project deliverables

  • Review the work product of associates and provide direction and training as necessary

  • Provide input into engagement decisions including work plan and timeline, project management, resource allocation, and career development of staff members

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of management consulting experience providing operational advisory services related to supply chain, cost reduction, and operational restructuring

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations analysis, engineering, or a related field from an accredited college/university

  • Demonstrated ability to assess, improve, and reconstruct the information, physical, and financial flows across the client's supply chain

  • Deep knowledge of demand planning and replenishment, inventory optimization, logistics, transportation, distribution, sales & operations planning (S&OP), and shop floor operations; knowledge of JDA and/or Oracle, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Supply Collaboration, Order Promising and Production Scheduling / Work Order management is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Travel as needed

Work you'll do As a Consultant you will work in a collaborative and diverse team environment providing many opportunities to have an active voice. You will advise clients on their Supply Chain and Operations strategy and work with them to implement next generation solutions. Illustrative activities include: * Work directly with clients to understand their Supply Chain, Manufacturing and related processes, capabilities, and systems * Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans, and coordinate activities across and between multiple project workstreams * Identify and implement strategic programs for clients' operations departments, and develop ways to assess, measure, and improve operational performance * Assess and/or guide the assessment of large datasets to discover meaningful patterns, trends and relationships * Develop advanced analytics and / or cognitive approaches to generate insights and improve supply chain performance Qualifications Required * 3+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience * Multiple project experiences participating in S&OP and/or integrated business planning initiatives for multi-national organizations * 2+ years of experience with tactical supply chain planning processes such as demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, supply planning, production planning, network planning * Experience using analytics and metrics to assess supply chain performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities * Experience with planning technology solutions, technology, and/or implementation experience in one of the following: o9, OMP, Blue Yonder/JDA * Bachelor's Degree * Ability to travel up to 50%,based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.'
